⭐big talk

This side of me is very new still I am still adjusting and the more I talk with my professional health care provider, the more comfortable I'm starting to feel to the point where I asked if it is healthy and okay to regress voluntarily, it took me nearly my whole session to ask because I was nervous and I know it's their job to listen and I'm in a safe space with no judgement but my nerves were shot.

I was very happy to hear that it's okay. She said as long as I'm not exclusively doing it to escape all adult functioning or avoid trauma work or let it get in the way of my adult responsibilities that it can be a good self-soothing coping mechanism when I'm struggling and she reassured me that there are others with my similar mental health problems that also regress and that it's okay. Obviously she didn't go into detail because patient confidentiality.

that made me feel so raw and venerable and seen. I'm not used to it.. the feeling I mean of being acknowledged fully and feel accepted without the "well I can't say that or else I'll be judged"

So I think I will start to explore more with my agere. I'm still a little nervous and a little shy with it but now that I have that extra "It's healthy and okay" I feel like a big weight has lifted a little off my chest in regard to my regression.
