mia is so interesting in 3-1 because she is reliving one of her worst traumas! imagine its your debut in court, and the defendant kills himself and the guilty woman goes free. okay thats really fucking bad. next, your bf ends up “murdered” by that same woman which is even more insane and sad. youre so traumatized that you dont go back to a courthouse for a year, and you take yet another case involving Murder Woman because you need to set the score. the defendant is just as immature and devoted as your first one.

he has a gift from his girlfriend. what is it? THE SAME GODDAMN NECKLACE THE FIRST DEFENDANT USED TO KILL HIMSELF!!! the absolute dread in that moment mia is feeling must be insane. she has already lost so many people to the same person, and she cant bare to lose another. its the same fucking necklace

AND THEN HE FUCKING EATS IT!!!!! and of course mia is thinking this is it. its happened again.

its insane how much dahlia took from mia, but in the end of it all, she gained phoenix.

turnabout sisters is so insane in hindsight. you are miles edgeworth. mia fey, the first defense attorney you ever went against, has been murdered and you are prosecuting her little sister for the crime. not only are you intrinsically tied to her because of the circumstances surrounding your father’s death but you both watched a man kill himself your first time in court. you think this case could not be more emotionally charged. then you walk into court the day of the trial and who do you see on the defense? your fucking childhood best friend who you haven’t seen in 15 years.
