dancing in the rain

the rain was getting heavier and heavier, but still the cafe staff we’re rushing yunho and yourself out after our litte late night coffee date, as it was past closing time.

“yunho, we’re going to get soaked.” you huff at him.

“well they’re literally kicking us out, so it’s now or never.” he shrugs and takes your hand. he gives you an apologetic look when you face him, his eyes making you fall for him all over again.

he pulls you closer and wraps his arm around you preparing to run off. you both look around the street and road to make sure it’s safe to run out and in seconds you find yourselves sprinting out down the road already absolutely drenched. after a minute or so you stop running and chuckle to yourself, yunho realising and stopping in front of you.

“what happened? what’s so funny?” he says confusingly but has a hint of a smile on his face.

“what are we doing? look at us!” you laugh it out, and he joins.

“we really thought running would work huh?” he smiles to you, rain falling down both of your faces. he takes both of your hands and twirls you around then back to him.

“dancing in the rain is quite fun, we should do it more often.” he says to you whilst putting his arm around your waist beinging you closer, in which you place your arms around his neck in response.

“i’ll make sure to check the weather for more rain then.” you roll your eyes jokingly.

even though you were both bothered by the rain, it still seemed like a perfect moment, just the two of you swaying back and forth as the rain continues to fall. you realised the way the warm toned streetlights would detail parts of yunho’s face which you admired.

you brang your foreheads together, now just centimetres apart.

“i really want to kiss you right now.” he whispers, looking at your eyes for an answer.

“i’ll happily oblige.” you whisper back to him, and slowly close the gap between your lips with a warm, soft kiss.
