Elain: If you found out you had one day left, what would you do with it?
Feyre: Say goodbye.
Morrigan: Something illegal.
Azriel: Accept my fate.
Cassian: I would message ten people on facebook and say if they didn’t forward the message to ten people I would die tomorrow.
Feyre: Can I change my answer?

Brightness Burns
She was the sun
exploding into existence
with all the force of a supernova
and just as silent
She left behind broken pieces
of those she once considered
a part of herself
but now were of no use to her
yet they still considered themselves
a part of her
and refused to give her up without a fight
for it was her light
that guided their sight
but they could not handle the might
with which she burned
once near, she destroyed them
they could not handle her burning intensity
and lashing tongue of molten lava
They learned not to go near her
They found solace in one other
and pieced themselves together
They realized that they were not so different
each relying on her
for she was all they knew
So they stayed close together
and tried to forget her
but it was is if there was a tether
tying them to her
For she was much too captivating
and they found themselves circling her
trying to feed off her heat
They learned to worship her from afar
Because, try as they might
they had nothing to offer her but devotion
they were but dying flames to her molten core
and she knew that, so
she wasted no time with them
because she knew that
they were her followers
and she was their everything

Sometimes it’s your darkest fear.
Sometimes it’s your deepest desire.
