I really love the way you depict Ethe's relationship with Ayla, it's a very interesting friendship.

seriously though. for now it's friendship so thank you! but yeah, every day i am leaning more towards making them childhood sweethearts as they grow older, but not openly. i can't explain it rn lmao just know that Ayla was actually the first oc i fully planned for this story, because i wanted a person that could actually be L's first friend and be that true. Ethe came right after her and lives in relation to Ayla, let's say.

DAMN now my brain is craving a death note DICE AU. I already know some of the characters' (first) A-rank ability (at the basic lvl).

Clairvoyance - Misa. basically the same thing as the shinigami eyes, but much more in depth info about the targets + can see Light when he has the cloaking on.

Cloaking - Light. he would try to get all the A-rank abilities so he can try to beat X (I think Ryuk in this AU) and get the final die so he can change the world, and that involves killing the other players, so he would need to get his hands dirty but with cloaking he can hide himself.

Levitation - Near. It would be cool to see him levitate. That's it. I don't think he would have any strong desire to get another A-rank ability other than this + it would be cool to see him descend over Light, as he is injured and on the ground.

Psychokinesis - Matt. Thought of this so he could stop the bullets tbh, but he would love to be able to control objects, c'mon.

Time Pause - L. He just needed enough time, at the end of the day + he would try to cheat the game and understand how to get the other A-rank abilities without the killing, so a way would be by stopping the time when Light kills someone and get the dice that fall out of the person, but I think at this point, Light would already have time pause (Raye's A-rank ability) so it would be ineffective, since time pause users cannot pause one another.

Teleportation - Mello. He would too try to get all the A-rank abilities, not cuz he wants to change the world, but to show everyone he is the best.

of course, here the goal isn't to find out if Light is Kira but to stop him from getting all the A-rank abilities. Also, in the manhwa, X wants to be the GM forever, so he can play forever, but Ryuk would give it up easily cuz he still doesn't want to get THAT involved.
