This is the official jacket. I am happy but I wish the middle logo was bigger. To follow the digitization a few adjustments had to be made

Jacket Projections

Shout out to Steven for helping me with the digitization stage. All the elements were final and approved by me. In this project, I did do a lot of decision making. I wanted to make my physical to digital so I could take it back to the physical stage again. I’d say I creatively directed this project.

Here is some differentiation

I print the logo for the prototype. I wanted to show you the potential of a initial design. previously I did stated what the logo mean and all. This certain jacket is the birth of the Ignoratio linage. There is no true official meaning to the this concept but it’s a start. The quality of the print is nice and impactful.

The conceptual Jacket

Primarily I would like to say how cool this jacket is. The denim adding texture and quality, to a sense of luxury. Then rips on the denim making it trending and popular between Asian and western community. Also the black print with a quality saying, “Desire, If you can’t be better than your competition, just dress”.
This is good creative conceptual inspiration.
First of all, I have always wanted to make a denim jacket for the brand. I thought the attributes of a denim jacket was classy and luxury and also creative if yo take to an extent. I wanted unique patches and a crazy design that was inspired by all.

When I drew up the denim jacket on the mannequin skeleton that was printed on (for efficiency), I wanted the front of the jacket to be special, unique, simplistic but complex at the same time. I knew that it was hard to fully accomplish but with a simple logo located on the left side of the chest and a certain amount of buttons would do it. Also he reason that this mannequin is on a female structure, is to make sure that our jackets are uni-sex and world wide

With the male concept, I knew that the straps would be there on the back of the jacket. Though this concept is a further one rather than the female one that is above. I had to combine 2 ideas into one.
Well the Ignoratio love fish with one side of the fish having normal scales and the other side contradicting the scale with our logo made the fish our.
I will explain in detail on another blog post what the

On the back of the jacket I did have 4 to 5 straps to symbolize the insanity aspects of going crazy. Hence you that the belts do have buckles. The choice may be to cut the amount of belt we have on the back but for the current, this will be it. The logo of the brand is located their to not miss the point. The point is to not go insane if you get heart broken or not to lose yourself on someone else that is not you. For a contradiction, when the belts are open, you can see the beauty of the being in love or having your heart broken due to beliefs that you learn from your experience.

Some more ideas

Above are a few ideas. Primarily we were have two words. I chose emotional clothing basically due to the facts that what was printed, displayed and embroider on my clothing would be emotional and touching to the soul and the mind.
I’d have some catchy phrase like they do in the movies.
Above is the explicit T-shirt with a text on the side a logo on the arm and a small logo on the right peck.
I figured that the certain archetype would be the achiever due to the fact that all the current successful brands/street wear are sports brand. Supreme, Palace etc.

The bear trap Hoodie
Well speaking in terms, if Andy and Yvone were to ask me how to describe my project I would say it is emotional clothing. Now I could tell you now what it is about but I am going to bait you into understanding societies view on the love archetypes and how, this archetype is majorly dominant today everywhere (Middle 8, n.d.).
“ The Lover, Sometimes known as the friend, partner, intimate, enthusiast, sensualist, or team-builder, the Lover is all about creating lasting, meaningful relationships. They thrive in situations that bring them closer to the things they love. " (Hudnall, 2015)
When researching on lines of clothing, to have a good understanding, many companies have a wide variety that hit different archetypes. The Love archetype in songs, pop culture and society is either really popular or the complete opposite. When looking at what I should have accomplish for my project, I always wanted to create something Emotional. Therefore talking about the heart breaks that love gives and the complications that come with it, would be a great Idea.
Mentally some would say that we’re trapped. When you experience a heart break it is like withdrawal through paralysis. Meaning, it is like talking a lolly pop from child and the child cries until you give it something else or they give it up.
Primarily I thought of a mathematical parabola triangle, the curve to be specific and the tactically of it. Growing up you are either a fan of math, or not. So I came to a conclusion that if I were to use something derived from mathematics that I would have it as a ‘trap’.

After I would have it as a stencil of a prison that symbolizes if you lock the heart no one can enter. AS drawing this I wanted to further the concept of this. I decided to take it to Illustrator, (“Buy Adobe Illustrator CC | Vector graphic design software,” n.d.), and turn into a stencil.
With the whole portion of the brand, Ignoratio has a double meaning, a message to everything.
To give this a negative meaning. I would need to add something extra and here is what it became.
A bear is trapped by lies, the snake is killed by the truth.
I still would not know if I will continue with this concept

The Logo
The logo. Many will say it is really important (“The importance of logos | Why do I need a logo?,” n.d.). I would say it captivate to the eye, to the brand and to your identity with who you are and where the brand stands.
After looking at logos from various social media platforms to diverting to games and current branched clothing companies, I came to a simplistic conclusion.
In songwriting it says that to make it hit, a song that it is popular, you must capture the public eye quickly (Tough, 2017). Your logo must be unique and familiar. Your name must stick into peoples head so they never forget. After making these notes, I understood it clearly and that I’d have to be diverse with my designs method.
Remember this is only an analysis based on the conclusion of these logos. I am not going to lie, I did know what the logo would look like but a part of me would question the style if I did not research. looked the saying of simplistic logos are a “major key” (“Less is more,” 2018), (“Major Key by DJ Khaled,” n.d.). I also analysed that if you look at brands and big names as Facebook (“Facebook - Home,” n.d.) and Saint Laurent (“Saint Laurent Official Online Store | YSL.com,” n.d.) etc., that those companies can a figure, an icon, to grab attention to those around them. I knew that yes, I would have “Ignoratio Co.” in cursive writing as a prolonged name, but my logo would be unique but captivate to the eye.
(“2015 So Far at Culture Kings,” n.d.; “@antisocialsocialclub • Instagram photos and videos,” n.d.; “Lower - Home,” n.d.; “Off-white,” n.d.; Off-WhiteTM, 2018; Rosam, 2017)

I went throughout many phases to make this logo. I primarily started with just a simply ‘i’, as a logo, In block simplistic font. I knew the symbol would not have a fill in the inner sector but have it outlined like outer lining (“Lining (sewing),” 2017). But a simplistic logo with external lines would not do. When I drew it, I started redrawing the ‘i’, as a prototype, I started to think about culture, Brazilian culture to a certain. A bird (“Toco toucan,” 2018) and due to the beak on the bird, the it bend down to ward the earth to gather its energy.
In a sense its nice and it comes to a identity because the whole brand is about giving a voice to the small, the unspoken a voice. The fact that people can look at the logo and be aesthetically pleasant but with the super-hero meaning (to a extent), this makes the icon Iconic.

After drawing it by hand, I took the drawing pasted it on illustrator and outlined the logo to be edgy on the corners. After I ended up rounding the edges to make the style fluid and smooth. Though the logo looked nice, but I thought to myself, if this logo ends up on a t-shirt, wouldn’t it logo plain and simple like logos people see around?

Well. to its final stage the meaning behind that gloss and line details on the final ‘i’, is to make it look abstract to an art extend. Meaning that behind every logo there is a glossy grass print that is with held in office. I did not want to do that, I wanted to show you that yes we are complex and unique but on my way. In a sense making the logo pop out like it is a 3 dimensional logo but 2 dimensional. Initially I had it as ‘3iii’ representing the three different companies and visions (see previous blog for major explanation) but for a twist, i just decided to have to change it to a question mark. This decision also came due to Chance’s whole brand have a ‘3’ as their major image (“Shop,” n.d.).

OFF- WHITE (“Off-white,” n.d.). This brand is one of the major street wear brand on the block. Mainly due to the fact that it is hyped and exaggerated by the society (Anwar, n.d.; “HYPEBEAST. Driving Culture Forward,” n.d.).
Although I primarily judge the clothing and the designs and the style of each garment but with this brand I o not find it pleasing due to the hype. Portion of the designs that OFF-WHITE are genuine and leasing to look at.
E.g
(“OFF WHITE - Sweatshirts,” n.d.)
Though the design is generic, but OFF-WHITE were the first to place to create this style. Flowers and geometric shapes printed all over makes the jacket pleasant and in a sense luxurious.
(“OFF WHITE - Sweatshirts,” n.d.)
The arms prints are unique for the time it was released. This jacket also paved way for small up coming and side brands (“AB ANDRE HOODED SWEAT,” n.d.).
This is also a good chance to notice the status and the arch-type of the off white. With the designs being highly influential, OFF WHITE (Howe, 2012) , with all these brand, on one side makes them and outlaw.
I do like the notorious actions that off white makes with their brand. To make it a ‘luxurious Street Wear’ with high prices makes it a genius in a sense. The factor that people buy these clothing with the high prices are indeed amazing.
That is the similar aim to my clothing brand in a sense. Make it luxurious, with affordable prices. Double meanings because off white is just a simple brand but with high prices.
Also, I strive to work like Virgil on a smaller scale. As he did on this documentary.

Research
Assc or Anti Social Social Club (“AntiSocialSocialClub,” n.d.) . Well known for being basic with plain writing. The also hit the quote, 'Less is more'. Though the brand itself has not formally said what type of brand they are. But they are street wear that focus on being outlaws and showing negative reactions.
Personally they are outlaws in their own nature due to availability. Since they are limited everyone wants their clothing hence making it a regular brand.
With this aspect the relation between this ignoratio is their status. The notorious aspect of assc makes them amazing and mysterious.
With their tactic of Instagram announcement allows me to look at building a following on that platform. By this we research out to people all over the world and I do not have to be based in a certain country or a certain place.
This also means I can keep my design’s simple but to be different I want to think complex and unique.
I have never truly understood minimalism to a point of clarity but I do understand less is more. With this brand (“AntiSocialSocialClub,” n.d.), maybe its the double message that goes behind the clothing or is the fact that a celebrity has wore this brand before (“Kanye West Hitting The Gym In Antisocial Social Club Hoodie, Faith Connexion Flannel And Adidas Ultraboost Sneakers | UpscaleHype,” n.d.).
The major difference between ‘Assc’ and ‘Ignoratio Clothing’ is that from the get go there will be an explanation to each item. There will be a small voice that will finally have a say. E.g. ‘don’t cross your hear’. A opposite reference to a well known saying (“Cross my heart definition and meaning | Collins English Dictionary,” n.d.). More will be explained soon.

Identity
In the difference of my brand, the aim is to be a outlaw brand as apple has done (“Apple,” n.d.). This is due to the fact that that I’m are not afraid to show true emotions and talk about aspects that society deems irrelevant. Aspects such as depression, love and small things that you should brush a side but Ignoratio does not. In a sense it’s giving that small a louder voice
Ignoratio is not innocent but it touches a part of that you used to love in a moment of time. Though we might dip into other archetypes such as Regular archetype that we may try to appeal to everyone. This is due because people tender to try to be unique and everyone will buy into the brand.
But our quality will be luxury, high end and just as Virgil has done (“Virgil Abloh,” 2018). Almost as we acclaim to a luxury street wear as something like off white (“Off-white,” n.d.) .
In a since, I'd say our brand is edgy and ironic due to being truthful and emotional.
It is also unapproachable by others due to its nature but people tend to try the irregular. Hence our quote "Every fuck boy is a sad boy at heart". A sad boy is some one who dwells in their feelings, and stays emotional. I imply that the fuck boy is 'stud' or a playa'. The only reason they are a playa' is due to past interactions and hurt emotions. Due to this they might act as if their relationship life is one of a player but their nature is to be sad.
Though motion research and many people out there could say that the love archetype is predominate to some extent, (Middle 8, n.d.), I could see some of our lining to be mixed with love due to the clothing that I create (This will be elaborated on a design).

Irrelevant (name)
In my absence from the blogging scene, on my search to discover my relation on what to do in this years project I encountered man journey
Many lecturers tell you to be Ambitious but not too ambitious, go big but make visible. A lot of this affects how a student performs and how they create a dynamic creative project.
Not knowing how to progress from the kitchen, it had me thinking to either do something audio based again or hit my roots of a designer, which I was before University. Throughout high school I was a designer and my focus on was to make something different.
Coming up with a brand name.
As you know I had this idea to dominate the industry. Audio (which is music for games movies etc.), A clothing brand and a creative studio that would do anything.
This semester I wanted to focus on the clothing aspect. I knew that it would be a challenge and I had accepted it willingly. I knew that I would need a to do a lot of research (which I did) and work really hard.
So for this blog I will talk about the name.
What is a name, a name that you can relate to (“Why Brand Name Matters?,” n.d.) ? A name that you can go and be distinct. I had Irrelevant, sadness but nothing that was good was available. I knew that I wanted to name the brand ‘Irrelevant Co.’ but that was never an option, due to copyright and there being clothing companies already named that. After crying and panicking, I switched up the flow, looked at this name from a Latin and ancient perspective.
ignoratio elenchi “ (Latin for an ignoring of a refutation) or missing the point, is the informal fallacy of presenting an argument that may or may not be logically valid and sound, but (whose conclusion) fails to address the issue in question. It falls into the broad class of relevance fallacies.” (“Irrelevant conclusion,” 2018)
To me personally it means to either hit the point or fully miss it. Explaining this brand to someone is to say, “the brand speaks about aspects that society deems irrelevant”
Though, mainly the reason this name was chosen because it has an ‘i’. this is due to fact I already had a concept for the logo.

S.I.S. CRITICAL FRAMING AND REFLECTION
Reflection and Development
Through out the phases of our project, we as a collective have developed the project more from a one person experience to a multi-person experience. Initially the proposal state that the installation would be consistent of a bed and a installation that would allow the participants to realize their fears of the unknown derived from their childhood and dreams. With the full experience was not fully being viable, we decided to only make the UFO mechanism and the audio. In order to truly execute the we decided that the mechanism of the UFO’s would be more effective than the single experience installation. Though the concept of the mechanism was difficult to execute, E.j. Logan and I managed to trial and expend the project out. At time I had difficulties on the aspect of managing the sound and helping the group out but with hard work, we managed to execute a successful space image and sound project.
Image:
Primarily, the UFOs or Flying Saucers, represents the future, something unknowable but inevitable. It could be a symbol for where our society is headed in terms of modernization and the advancements we have made in technology, as well as how far we’ve come with space-age exploration and the potential consequences that it presents for us as a society. It forewarns us of speculative futurist scenarios, such as inter species breeding with extra-terrestrial lifeforms. Thus embarking on a dialogue, about the future or continuation of the human race. It relates to our apprehensions around kidnappings or abductions as well as xenophobia.
Sound:
The way sound is presented in the installation, plays on the idea of night-terrors or sleep-paralysis, also i spooky feel as if you were about to get raided by an invasion. The soundtrack evokes emotions that follow the pattern of a wave, going between a sense of ambient calm building up into a crescendo of unease and fear using distorted noise. We managed to execute this, but I do wish I had more time to go back and add more variation rather than a minimal track. These wave patterns are in parallel with nightmares and how they often bend from subtle absurdity before spiraling out of control. Hence in some areas that you have the creeping buzzing and the hard bass frequencies that create major tension.
Space:
I cannot fully expand space unlike others in the group. Though the space and the lighting on the day of the installation performance create the mood. With the UV light reflection the hieroglyphic symbols of the UFO’s and the UV lighting reflecting of the clouds, it really created an alien atmosphere.
