The Facts

The fact that you could just forget everything we had. All the plans we made. The fact that you could act as if I didn't exist. As if I never meant a thing. The fact that you could act as if we never made a baby. As if she never existed. The fact that you could live your life as if you had not one care in the world. It has been six months and I still can't believe you left us as if we never existed.

From Head To Toe Your hair the way I loved when you would get a fresh hair cut, the tint of red, how it could never decide what way it wanted to go. Your forehead the sweetest place for my lips to touch. Your eyebrows how they were a dead give away when you got angry. Your eyes how any person would just say blue but only I know that when you were happy your eyes were sky blue with a mix of yellow. How when we made love they almost turned hazel. How when you were angry they turned a light brown. It was almost as if the yellow around the blue was the fire inside you and when you were upset that passion and fire got blown out. Your ears how I loved to give them kisses and lightly blow on them and feel you tremble. Your cheeks how no matter how cold it was I knew that when I snuggled my face against yours you would be warm. Your nose how you hated that it was crooked but to me it was a perfect imperfection. And finally one of my favorite parts. How on the first date all I wanted to do was kiss you. How a first kiss can make it or break it. How you left me dazed that night with your kisses, how you left me wanting more, How when you kissed me time stopped for a split second my mind went blank. Your neck the perfect place to snuggle my nose when it was cold, a place to store all my kisses, where I wrapped my arms around for hugs, Your shoulders so broad and strong, but so soft and perfect for my head to rest on. Your chest, my home, my most favorite place of all, my warm spot, a place to rest my head while listening to your heart beat so fast. Your arms are my protectors, at night when you wrapped them around me and I knew that nothing could go wrong. Your hands how they were so strong, rough, but when you touched me you touched so soft. How when we held hands you stopped my circulation but I never said a word because it made me believe you would never let go, Your legs how when we slept you intwined yours in mine. Your feet how they always seemed to know where to take you. All the things I should have said, All things I wish I could feel, All the things I want again.
