(T/N: Taehyung is at Naksan Beach in Yangyang, Gangwon-do with his Wooga friends and is posed next to public art. Sculpture title: 오줌싸개 (The Bed Wetter), 2017 by 김석희 (Seok Hee Kim). Traditionally, children who wet their beds were made to wear a winnowing basket over their heads whilst going to their neighbors’ homes to ask for salt. Bed-wetting was believed to be caused by evil sources that made the child physically weak and unable to control his/her bladder, and salt is thought to purify and is even used by traditional Korean fortune tellers to exorcise evil spirits. The basket was worn to ward off any evil spirits that might attach themselves to the children as they got salt from their neighbors.)
