TODAY i realized that the reason my handwriting is illegible when i write fast and for myself isn't that the letters are weird it's that i straight up am not writing the words. like. i sometimes am. but i was taking super fast notes of something today. because taking notes, the process of taking notes, helps me get my ideas in order and remember. and i realized that what i was writing were not letters but squiggles, just squiggles vaguely framed by where the tall or protruding letters would be (and those only have a little bit more of identity), and i am Thinking of the words while i write them but what i WRITE is squiggles. no intention of writing individual letters. vibes only. word flavored squiggles .

The fact that animals that care for their young will sometimes adopt others' lost or orphaned young to raise along their own is just funny to me. I know that it's all hormonal and there's no conscious thought involved in it, but the internal logic of it is so funny.
