Crafty Vaporizer Review - Portable Vape with a Kick!

The Crafty Vaporizer, from Storz & Bickel, is the smaller version of the Mighty Vaporizer. As with other vaporizers made by the company, the highest quality goes into this unit. Storz and Bickel made the Crafty Vaporizer to be the right size to fit in your pocket, although it's slightly wider and a bit thicker than other vapes.

Vaporizer Size:

The Crafty Vaporizer comfortably fits in your hand without any weight issues.  Its dimensions are: 1.3 inches wide, 4.3 inches high, 2.2 inches long, and it weighs 135 grams. Due to its excellent design, it is easy to handle.

Vaporizer Battery:

To fully charge a dead battery takes up to 2 hours, and the unit will operate up to 45 minutes. Although this is considered a rather low-end battery life, it does have a feature that allows you to turn it on and use it while it's charging.  That said, the battery must be 20% charged before you can take advantage of that feature. Crafty vaporizer has a Micro-USB Charger that uses a Standard Micro-USB Adapter, which makes it easy for you to pick up another one for your car.

To get started, take off the top section by unscrewing it and exposing the chamber.  Swivel the top out, fill the chamber, and just swivel it back into place.

The chamber will hold approximately 0.3 grams, depending on the fineness of your herbs texture. With some units, you must have a really fine texture for best results. This portable dry herb vaporizer will deliver top quality results, no matter how fine or coarse your herbs are. You also get a filling tool that will attach to the top of the chamber, allowing you to pack a perfect quantity.

Once the chamber is loaded, attach the top with the mouthpiece, and hold down the power button for 2 seconds.  The vaporizer will vibrate and the LED light will blink, then turn red while the vaporizer is heating up.  After 90 seconds, the unit will vibrate again and the light will turn green.

This process will bring the temperature up to the default setting.  There is another setting called the Boost Mode.  To get to this mode, tap the power button twice while the unit is on. This will make the temperature rise. The heat settings are 356 degrees F and 383 degrees F.

The Crafty Vaporizerwill give you a really nice quality of smooth vapor and a really nice taste. On average, a fully packed chamber will give you twelve large draws per session. With smaller draws, it will last up to approximately 15 to 20 tops. This unit does need a firmly packed chamber, not loose.

Vaporizer Cleaning Up:

After each session, you should clean up. Use the brush that is included, and clean the chamber, and the upper screen. The top piece detaches, and should be cleaned occasionally. Using a cotton swab or Q-Tip and rubbing alcohol will clean everything thing really nicely. Since the whole top piece comes apart, the smaller pieces are easier to clean. After cleaning with alcohol, I would suggest taking a damp cloth or paper towel to rinse the pieces off.
