She sighed and ran a hand through her hair. “You’d think since you can understand him that it’d be less of an issue than with normal cats.” Ann paused at his latter words before shaking her head. “I’m pretty sure my apartment has a rule against having pets though.” 

“I think its the opposite. Being able to understand him makes him harder to control.” Plus, he acted so unlike a cat at times and tried to insist he wasn’t one despite also acting like one a lot of the time. But when Ann said that her apartment had a rule against pets he just shook his head. “That’s a shame. I guess I’ll just deal with him for the time being.”

She nodded, carefully listening to his words, Morgana truly was an enigma. Was he really a human in a cat’s body? Ann found the idea somewhere between distressing and relaxing, cats weren’t typically expected to do much. “I’m sure some day we’ll figure out what Morgana is, but... Couldn’t Futaba keep him for a while? Boss seems like he’s fond of him at least.”
