"the us is 50 countries in a trenchcoat" is always such a funny quip bc the us is extremely homogenous despite its size due to how violent its settler colonialism was. literally the only things not making the us have the cultural expansion of a pea is the still living native people (who they want to kill), black communities who refuse to be assimilated (who they want to kill) and immigrants who havent assimilated (who they want to kill)

What do you think about archie silver. The secret freedom fighters stuff specifically

i think its a really clever way to keep silver in the past without breaking the logic loops archie sonic already kinda had in terms of time travel/adjacent stuff (i dont know what they planned to do once silver succeeded in his mission but with just the established story in presgw he never really runs into the issue of "how do we keep him coming to the past if his future is saved" without making his efforts seem futile) and i think its much more interesting/compelling than a hypothetical archie 06 adaptation. silver on the sff so good it fits the thematic reason for making the team and it gives him an excuse to socialize and make friends with the archie sonics that isnt necessarily directly related to his mission of finding/stopping the traitor to the freedom fighters. AND SPEAKING OF THAT ITS SO AWESOME. a great way to bring him into conflict with sonic and company without having to go into all that iblis shit. also i think he shouldve tried to kill mecha sally

sonic getting absolutely livid at silver was great lets keep that rolling. silver being the physical representation of everything going wrong with the freedom fighters and everything falling apart in sonics life so FINALLY sonic has a face to beat his frustrations into. if he cant get frustrated and beat someone up he dies. its awesome

"what if archie sonic crossed over with x sonic media" is a really fun thought exercise. not a full crossover bc its complicated to mesh two full universes together but "archie sonic gets lost on the cosmic interstate and visits one of the sonic medias while making catty remarks about everything until he zoops back to mobius prime"

Hiii!! I was part of a collaboration for the @sthbigbang along with @holidaymidi [X] and @yellowvixen [X] for @ratsnoot's fic digital desires and crossed wires that's about nicole and metal sonic swapping bodies!

I decided to go and try to design metal as nicole's hologram and I had soo much fun with it, I really loved drawing her soo much and oyu can check out the design sketches and some doodles under the cut :3
