When they asked me to join the zine I knew IMMEDIATELY what I wanted to draw - I've always wanted to draw a Fantasy Coscto scene haha. Perfect excuse to draw something fun, goofy, and colorful with lots of details!

I had an older piece of art flagged by tumblr for being inappropriate, but as usual there was nothing in it that was against tos. Shirtless Magnus Burnsides, had bottoms on, nothing showing. Basically my entire repertoire from 2016-2018 lol. It was even in black and white which is rare usually the algorithm just flags anything with a lot of skin tone in it lol.

This is always really annoying because the only reason I found out about it was searching back through my own blog, which I don't make a habit of but I was looking for something in particular yesterday. Tumblr does not notify you when your stuff has been flagged, it just disappears from your blog.

Anyway, I submitted an appeal, which tumblr always "assures" you is reviewed by a Real Human Being. They have a space where you can explain your appeal (I always just put something like "He's not naked?" because.... he wasn't?????)

Five minutes later I get this email

which is just... blatantly incorrect but okay, it's a drawing from 2017 that no one is going to look for anymore, I'm not going to throw a fit.

Except I go to the image in question again and I see this

I was so excited to be asked to make a piece for this Zine and it's coming out next month! I can't wait for you guys to see it, it turned out really cute! And there are some really beautiful pieces and wonderful fics (and COSPLAY! and RECIPES??) people made for it!

beach cycle and Magnus is chilling on a tanning chair and Taako comes over and just lays directly on top of him. Eventually he falls asleep and he's so relaxed he's purring and Magnus is tearing up over how cute he is and how much he loves him and he doesn't wanna disturb him so he just lets him stay there for almost an hour

The next day he has Taako-shaped tanlines
