So I did see your rb, but I am answering anyway with more Vibes because I am a terrible judge of music and have never listened to anything ever. I picture him very strongly scored in Ominous Strings. This is a last 30 seconds of "Transformation" when the ominous violin comes in after the laugh kind of man. This is a guy who sits in a leather armchair in a room lit only by a dying fire in the hearth and a crack of lightning to cast him in ghastly chiaroscuro while the strings slowly rise to warn you that he is going to shred your life apart and he won't even touch you sort of man. (also because he plays the violin. He hates it. He has done it so long that it's very grounding so he keeps doing it anyway. He never plays for anyone else.)

I don't think he has the charisma of Mr. Malum, but I do think he is the kind of person that you realize too late has already extracted everything he wanted because no one stopped him, and now he will move on to the next thing. Also because I am on my hands and knees for his polished shoes and the tie and cufflinks on this man

can I just say I'm very much enjoying the fact that Hiram's story arc went from him being a normal human guy plagued by nightmares to him having has zero nightmares but not being 100% human anymore. You either die plagued by The Horrors or you live long enough to see yourself become one.

That's not true. Elliott generally likes Fruits of the Zee, and Bolormaa thinks it's fun. Florence hates it (terrified of the Zee) and the Surgeon also hates it (too many people trying to fish while he is also trying to fish. That's supposed to be his quiet secluded "me time"!!!). The others are relatively neutral on it
