Am I the only one who noticed the complete absence of Derrick Berg in all LOTM donghua promo materials?.. I just realised that is really strange not just give no pv to a character who appears in second half of vol 1, gives much content, immediately becomes quite important for the plot and uncovers a super-important part of LOTM worldbuilding, but to give him not a single frame in any of 4 trailers?...

(while some other characters, all great, but less significant objectively, got their pvs)??

It makes me worried that they somehow changed the plot to move Derrick's appearance to season 2, or significantly lessen his impact in season 1, and I would't like it at all, as Klein's rough acquaitance to the Eternal Blazing Sun is still here, so it all seems kinda strange.

Or am I just being paranoid?..

Idk why but there is a part of me that loves how in AUs of after th Clone Wars that the Clones are almost automatically saying "we are staying with our Jedi" and how the Jedi looks at them and think that it'll only be temporary even when they install new equipment into older halls and give full access to their archive. And having the Jedi slowly realise that the Clones/Vode are not leaving them be – Jedi negotiating peace talks now have a small squad to look out for them, Jedi Initiates and Padawans have Clones as teachers on hand to hand combat or slicing, Jedi guards have three or four Clones on hand to help if someone gets sick.

The collide of Clones and Jedi being irreversible and they are both staggering to stand up in a recovering peace. Someone sitting at the Jedi's back, and the Jedi looking after the clones'. War broke the Jedi, but the Clones reminded them what they are healing for. War made the Clones but the Jedi taught them that they held more potential than such.

Gimme Jedi Order sheltering Clones and Clones healing the Jedi Order after the war and I will cry/breakdown.

Got my ruri holy card ready ITALIAN EXAM I DON'T FEAR U

My sketchbook is about to end so I finally looked through my oldest drawings, of the time when I wasn't afraid to try to draw full-length portraits and smth like small comics. I preferred to forget they exist because I though they were too ugly and switched to precise portrait redrawings because I too much compared myself to my friends who went to artschool. But now I see I was so wrong to stop drawing from imagination and never step out of comfort zone. Those old pics ofc look childish and clearly show that my knowledge of the very basics was below zero, but comparing the first and the last ones shows that I was slowly, but still making progress, even without literally any tutorials. Years of redrawing lead to me being able to redraw any anime character and simple photorealistic portraits, but long without practice I can barely use what I learned to draw what I keep in my mind (while the older I get, the more I'd like to draw and the more precise the images become).

So the goal for the next scetchbook is pure experiments🤪

Came across some old failed attempt of drawing and decided to get it right.

Btw I sometimes feel so nostalgic about antagonists of locally popular fiction series I loved 7+years ago. Most antagonists from those weren't an example of good character writing, but their stereotypical image and mean-as-f attitude in accurate setting is what suddenly can make them likeable even for an adult.

Finally have some time to draw, but yesterday my sharpener broke and I screwed up the pic I was finishing. And now I have a dilemma: I'm VERY inspired to draw the next one, but I feel like I'll fck it up too if I start drawing right now with badly sharpened pencils... help...😬

The only good thing is that I'm around 100 chapters from finishing LotM, and then I'll focus on Dragon Raja II (6 more exams? Who cares, after I somehow passed one, my heart chooses the path of avoidance and procrastination)

Reading Lord of the Mysteries and Dragon Raja at the same time feels like damaging your understanding of all aspects of the world... As one is full of action and darkness, while there are barely any lovestories, while the other often feels more chilling, sometimes cringy, but as soon as you fall for this, hits you hard as f... These 2 perfetly fit with each other, but my poor brain...
