Britain's railways are in the process of being renationalized, and will eventually be placed under the government operator "Great British Railways." However, the proposed name is perhaps not the best, so we here at Network Rail (as the government owned railway infrastructure organization) have decided to let the public have their say on some different name ideas. If you think all of these options are terrible, please give some suggestions for better ones. wtf bedoel je met BRT. ik ben niet zo bekend met heerlen/sittard maar ik zie daar geen enkele busbaan. Als de bus geen voorrang en eigen baan heeft is het gewoon een frequente buslijn. 611 rijdt zelfs maar 0800 tot 1600.

Dutch Ministry of Infrastructure demands compensation from Public-Private Partnership Infraspeed for the defects on the bridges along the HSL-South. Severe cracks were detected in the high speed railway bridges only a few years after being in service, forcing trains to go much slower passing over them (80km/h instead of 300km/h they are rated for) causing lots of delays and time tabling issues.

The costs for reconstruction of the bridges are estimated at half a billion euros and will take multiple years, which the Dutch Government is demanding to be paid by the consortium that caused the construction issues in the first place, Infraspeed (made up of BAM and Siemens Mobility, financed by banks).
