First of all, this is a local experiment, so if you found a sticker in your town, you have a neighbor on your side. Trans kids, you are seen. You are cared for. You are loved.

Second of all, this is an effort to put information and resources in the hands of struggling trans youth, so if you’re NOT trans but you found this sticker, *please leave it.* These kids have it hard enough. Let them have a glimmer of hope.

That out of the way, if you need a binder but lack the funds, here’s a list of programs that offer free binders to youth in tough situations.

Most programs like these have a wait list. They will usually contact you via email when you’re up next, but please check the details of each program. It’s recommended to apply to several programs. If you get more binders than you need, you can always give one to a friend or even drop them off at a donation bin.

Also, these are not the only programs out there— these are just some of the better-funded, more reputable programs. If you don’t have success with these, there are more out there just an internet search away. Don’t stop trying. Don’t be discouraged.

If you are concerned about binders being mailed to your house, consider mailing them to a friend or family member’s address instead. If that’s not an option, FedEx has package pickup locations. You also *may* be able to request a “Hold for Pickup” through USPS. However, both of these services require you to show an ID at pickup, so keep that in mind.
