Gee, I sure have been getting a few Gomah-related asks lately

They say Gomah is not to be underestimated. How can he be when he didn't even get to go off with a magical barrage?

No, really. Gomah caused the whole Daima plot to happen because the royal scientist planted an idea in his head that otherwise would've been a non-issue. Your majesty, did you forget the no one comes in and no one leaves without a passcode security measures the demon realm has? Even after Dabura's death, they never had a reason to go there until you shrunk them and kidnapped a literal baby. Brother, they didn't even know you existed before the stunt you pulled aaaa

What made you a gomah fan?

Hi, Anon!

I like Degesu, so by extension I started liking Gomah too! think my reason for liking Gomah goes back to the early character reveals. Everybody knew he and Degesu were gonna be the villains but I was hoping they would turn out to be unserious goofballs.

Then, Daima premieres and my wishes comes true

He's a very expressive guy when he's not watching the Buu replays grrrrr

And a lot of the gags I laughed at involved him. Let's not forget the plunger or when the eye gets squished into his forehead (same episode but whatever)

There's also been comparisons to Pilaf. They're both little round guys with resources and want the dragon balls, kinda dangerous, but at the same time, not really. Actually, they're kinda both frauds lol. I'm pretty sure "Emperor" is just a title because Pilaf wants world domination and all of his old bases were possibly inherited. Once all of Pilaf's bases and weaponry gets destroyed, he's pretty much broke and starving with Shu and Mai.

Gomah became king by default and I'm assuming he doesn't even have any royal blood in him. He quickly kicks off his tyrannical rule, puts his face on everything, and has statues built of himself. The Gendarmerie are the ones who exert Gomah's authority. Meanwhile, the king is too preoccupied over a threat that likely wasn't an issue before he turned it into a self fulfilling prophecy.

So, in short, Gomah's a silly little guy failure and I love him for that

Interesting question!

Never thought of that. I don't think there's enough for me to go on to say whether or not Gomah would like selfcest, but I wouldn't discount it if he was. He could be somewhat of a narcissist seeing how it's shown that his likeness was put on various things in the demon realm within a short amount of time. He even had a statue built of himself.

Hi everybody!

It's been almost 2 weeks since the last episode of Daima aired. In the end, Daima was a fun ride with all of its highs and lows. There's a Daima shaped hole in my heart now, but Daima isn't completely gone. Not yet. We still have the dub, the upcoming kakarot dlc, and new merch. Here's to hoping for the Daima saga's return in future Dragon Ball media.

And of course, thank you Akira Toriyama for an amazing adventure with thousands of jabs and silly jokes!
