If you haven’t watched the newest episode, “When Nelson met Lisa,” PLEASE DO SO!! 

They handled the story extremely well from the original 80s “When Harry Met Sally,” it was basically plot point-for-point. And there were even flashbacks to their first date, along with some very genuine moments of Nelson showing he truly cares for her more than all her previous suitors. 

Thank you so much Simpsons staff!! The series can end now LOL!

it’s teen jessica’s arch nemesis teen lisa!!!!!! 16 years old and already on her way to graduating high school early thanks to that big big brain of hers. you know for a fact she’s getting valedictorian too and pissing off every single Actual senior that was vying for the spot. she’s ready to leave springfield behind for some ivy league (even if it’s — ugh — yale), but not before spending one more school year with her... brother’s friends because she STILL doesn’t have any long-lasting ones of her own 😔 at least she’s got her not-ex-not-boyfriend nelson, but who knows for how long... what will the distance do to them once she finally leaves for college :(

in terms of design, for some reason i was really feeling the alice cullen haircut for her? not quite a bob but not quite a pixie cut, but a rly feathered spiky in-between... i just wanted the flippy look but now she kinda looks like super sonic. her outfit is directly inspired by rachel from friends even tho i don’t even like friends but jennifer aniston looked great in every outfit she was in so like???? hell yeah???? that fun blend of academic chic from the 90’s that was cute enough to turn heads in a library or something. i also wanted to keep with the bare-shoulders sleeveless look to callback to her childhood strapless dress. the clips are self indulgent if you know then you know

Boyz N the Highlands Episode

One of the newest episodes showed Nelson and Dolph finding a small cottage in Springfield’s Highlands, and he chooses to put a Dave Brubeck album on the record player, one of Lisa’s favorite jazz musicians!!
