Foggy paused, eyes searching. What should she do versus what Foggy wanted her to do? That was simple. “You should forgive me, Kare. I never meant to hurt you,” He said honestly, closing the 10ft distance between them. He didn’t touch her, never would without her permission, but he begged her with one look to say, ‘it’s okay’, and ‘i understand.’ Karen knew how easy it was to fall for Matty. Knew how wonderful it felt, to be in the spotlight of Matt’s attention. “And...I shouldn’t have said any of that. I don’t know what I was thinking,” Foggy laughed, sad and exhausted. 

Karen was one of his closest friends -- he couldn’t be without her without feeling like he’d lost his limb. The bullet wound in his arm throbbed.

Snorting, Foggy lifted his glass to Kori, his beer half-empty and bubbling at the top. It had been slow-going, finally feeling the confidence to ask Kori out on a friend-date. Not a real date, because she had clearly been with some rugged looking guy that was definitely not the Foggy Nelson type, but -- he could at least find some friends who weren’t Daredevil. “Who could be mean to you? I feel like you’re just this big ray of sunshine.”

Foggy narrowed his eyes, “I’m starting to think that’s not the truth, Murdock.” Hissing through his teeth, the lawyer stepped closer to Matt, hands hovering close but never touching. 

Since the ‘incident’ -- as Foggy had been calling it -- he’d been afraid to be close to his best friend. Scared of any implication or the thought that somehow Matt would just know and banish him from any and all friendship-ness. Whatever that meant.

“You -- you’re bleeding,” Foggy frowned, pulling his hands back.

so, ladies and gents... what are our thoughts on the drama brewing between foggy, karen, and matt?

Now that’s an interesting love… triangle? I don’t know what kind of shape to call that mess. How did anything ever get done when the three of those were in business together? No wonder Frank Castle preferred prison to any of their company. 

Whatever it is that’s going on there, one thing’s for certain — it’s going to end in tears. Nelson’s got the hots for Murdock (and I really don’t see the appeal), but Hornhead is blind in more ways than one. Rumor has it surly detective is more his type these days, anyways. If I were Ms. Page, I’d steer clear of the whole mess. (As long as she’s steering clear of my Jessie, too. I mean it, dear, you can do better!)
