some places in the world still allow you to smoke inside and that is insane to me, a smoker of 10 years, who has lived in a family of smokers who NEVER smoked inside anywhere and strived to put as much distance as possible in between them as the kids in the family

no one in my family ever smoked inside their houses, and if it was an apartment, all the smokers congregated into a small ass room that was forbidden to kids. i have never experienced anyone smoking inside until i started smoking myself and sometimes my dad wanted to smoke so we did in the car - butt only when we were in the highway and the wind didn't let the smoke linger inside the car. And we never smoked inide my car or my mums car, we only rarely smoked inside his car which was literally older than me and used for the heavy duty shit we did.

i was never a passive smoker, when i picked up a cig i did it entirely on my own and fucking god i loved it. I still love it. I told my parents as much, when i told them i was smoking and they did tell me the addiction gene runs in the family alright. It's not everyone that starts smoking marlboro reds because they love the taste of that shit lmao

Aprils work is Pompeii themed, inspired by photos I took in the House of the Vettii. The illustration is named Buried and is of the remains of the villa’s north courtyard, bathed in streaming morning light, with a mysterious occupant. Even though this scene is modern day, the girl is in Roman dress looking at the viewer. And oh what’s that? She’s slightly transparent...👻

SOMETHING bit me last week on my arm and i slapped the culprit dead on sight but could not identify what the fuck it was, it was a tiny bug i guess, but now i have a bite mark that is just not getting better like a regular mosquito's and the last time i peeled the scab off (not accepting opinions on this because i am well aware i should not have peeled it off) i think i saw a congealed pus core in it. it doesnt hurt to touch and doesnt look like much and i am keeping an eye to see if redness spreads or swelling happens also

but i just want that pus shit to surface so i can squeeze it out and be Satisfied

i had a moment where ivhad to explain 'ranço' as a word but more importantly as a sensory experience which usually contains smell and taste for someone who is well adjusted in their sensory experiences but for ME i have an additional factor which is texture

my friends here agree on the concept of ranço as a taste and smell experience bc taste is so totally something you learn but they are still intrigued as to how seemingly innocuous things like boiled cabbage in a broth can make me immediately retch because the consistency of cabbage in a soup Fucks Me Up Real Good
