WOAH...... it was so much better than expected but they were VERY specific about what lore they swapped around before 'canonizing' an origin...... correct me if i'm wrong but has orion pax ever been truly lower caste before...? Putting all the future Autobots in the background in the mines while making Decepticon High Command the last dregs of the golden age..... editorialized to slag just like i knew it'd be.... but they couldn't take it from Megatron. Too personal because the whole WAR is personal for him.

I can't wait to see tf1 if its really as good as everyone says no wonder they buried the release. If it really draws out the dawn of the Decepticons to the last possible moment with Megatron in the right you KNOW the sequel is going to be pure garbage as a disincentive.
#wtf was the part about tying an active Matrix to planetary energon flow#it's the blood of Primus it's going through a circulatory system. and the offworld battle is always compelled by energon crisis#so if Prime's fine how the scrap do they end up on Earth

Lately I've seen a lot of people using "Star Trek ending" as a shorthand way of saying "cheesy 60s ending where all the characters get together and laugh at some shitty one-liner until the freezeframe in order to wrap things up with a neat breezy bow" and, well. They're not wrong... but that's only half the episodes.
The other half of the episodes end you staring at the TV in haunted existential silence because the story's thesis was "Don't delude yourself that waging war with technology is any less brutal than committing murder with your bare hands. You are a mortal and an animal like any other and if you think you have a justified reason to kill you had better be prepared to face your enemy, and recognize him as an intelligent equal, and smash in his skull with a rock."
