update lol

i haven’t posted since i started the fall 2017 semester ??? i was nineteen back then wow. ok so. i did pretty well that semester, idk why i never uploaded my psychology notes or anything cus those always came out so well? well not the in class notes but like the revised ones i’d make specifically for studying. anyway i did okay in my other classes except i failed one since i never did the work and when i did the deadline would be different than i thought??? so that’s my fault for procrastinating. 

spring 2018... didnt go so well. i moved to a new city and attempted going to a community college there, but the college had a terrible system and staff that didnt care about you and it was also a 30 minute walk from my house, and public transportation was too costly for twice a day, and eventually too expensive to go on it even once a day. i lost my bus pass two days after getting it on a school field trip and decided to give up on the semester. i had already given up on one class at that point, a once a week three hour lecture (RIP) for government, one of my weaker subjects. i was intimidated from the beginning by that class and after two lectures and missing the first exam i decided to srop going to that one, which led to me giving up on all of my classes. I dropped out, didn’t have a job, and spent most of my time in my house hanging out w friends (I lived in a house w 38 TOTAL PEOPLE, it was draining).

This semester I moved back to my original town and I’m only going to be taking two classes: social psychology and oceanography. I no longer consider myself a psych major, and I don’t actually consider myself as having a major at all, and I don’t plan on getting a degree? I’m going to college to learn things I’m interested in without putting all this pressure on myself, and I’m going to be focusing on creating a career for myself in the beauty/social media industry. Being an influencer has been something i’ve wanted to do since I was 14. I’m 20 now, and I figure I may as well try, while still keeping my foot in the door of college in case I change my mind at any point on what I want to do.

I’m hoping to kind of revive this tumblr? just to keep myself motivated since I did fall off the wagon last semester. However I think that because I’m only taking two classes about things I have genuine interest for it’s going to be a much easier semester.

12/08/17- pink floral inspired psychology notes 🌸 I felt super inspired to include some flowers into these pink notes so I had a looksy on tumblr and found these wonderful notes by @smoketexture so i decided to include their flower design in mine (i did ask but unfortunately i did not get a response so i hope that it is okay😅). I’m really happy with the way the calligraphy lettering turned out. Supplies: blush tombow ABT dual brush pen, muji 0.38 black gel pen and red and grey mildliners.
