Accidentally caused inflation on an item because I just thought it would be funny to own a huge number of it since no one wants it and it was nuts cheap. Forgot to factor in that it's an Advent Calendar item and more aren't getting put out into the game. So while the price was just a jump from ##np to ###np and I stopped buying a few days ago, I think botters might've caught on to the demand and they're buying up more of them to sell for heavily marked up prices. Whoops.

I don't like the training aspect of the battledome. Actually battling is fun but holy dung I do not like training. It's just so tedious. Training level separately from your other stats is so arbitrary: it's just there because level is in so many RPGs and to gate you from one gym to the next.

Also I don't like how movement is a useless stat. Surely at a minimum it could be a stat that could be plus +1/2 strength and +1/2 defense or something. I'm not sure if it'd be a good stat even with that, but it'd be something. I'm sure at least the Air faerie quest won't be a waste of time.

It's certainly unique compared to RPGs, but unique definitely does not mean good here. I can't give it points for that because how it is unique is how it's bad.

I know that's how stats have always been and there are so many other things to fix (and given the absolute mess of a codebase Neopets has to be, fixing this will probably make your pet's battledome equipment lost or something), but this is such a bad design.

i am so tired of every NP (and now NC) clothing release being costumes that make your neopet not even look like a neopet anymore. not to mention, you can't use these costume parts seperately because they weren't designed for that. it's the whole costume or nothing

i feel like i'm going insane being the only one who hates these, everyone else seems pleased with them (outside of the fact that the mini caps cost real money)

please. release normal clothing and outfits again. im begging

here's my hot take: casual players get mad when things are too hard to get and hardcore players get mad when things are too easy to get but in 2025 the availability of pretty much every single thing on the site is driven by the food club botter's 60000+ accounts and the neopoints and items he sells offsite for real money (including other users using the purchased neopoints to drive up on site prices.) if everyone actually stopped buying from him and acknowledged that his 60000+ accounts are the problem instead of trying to blame each other for gate keeping or not trying hard enough or whatever then maybe we could all have a much better time on this website

I hate how much the Neopets player base whines at anything that changes, regardless of whether it's for the better or for the worse. The site is Old. As. BALLS. It NEEDS to be changed. It NEEDS to be revitalized. Dynamics that have been stagnant HAVE to be changed. TNT NEEDS to make this site profitable or IT WILL GO UNDER. Not everything has to be catered to you individually, and by God, not every change or implementation is bad. Take the rose-tinted glasses off and see the mess that Neopets has been in for over a decade now.

The Tiki Tombola Man and his concept is hella rascist. and it is so. WEIRD. how nobody points it out.

Its like rascist depictions of islanders are more okay just bc they are not as forefront as other rascist issues?? (DISCLAIMER - THOSE ARE BAD TOO DONT GET ME WRONG)

Like? He was literally used in a very early plot where the neopets staff of the time were attacked by islander cannibals? Like. Am i the ONLY one who things thats fricked up???? And its weird he is still kept? Especially as a sterotype human fat islander man?? In a world of magical CREATURES???? Where seemingly the only canon humanoids are fairies?

I might be wording this poorly but it bothers me so much. Especially the old use of cannibals and treatment of islanders as if they are strange savage/mystical beings instead of an actual irl people with a real culture- something that seems to happen alot in modern media even still and its horrific!

Also tangentally- i hate that the trading post fairie has. a flipping coconut bra. That CANNOT be comfortable or practical in any way. Orientalism at its finest.

I don't agree that premium players getting an extra item during the advent calendar is a terrible thing. There's always been special items given out for buying things. Yeah it can suck to not get it, but that's always been part of the game. And honestly it's a good way to get people to want to spend money, and considering that it's a buisness they probably want that. Someone getting one of the items doesn't actually stop you from doing anything.
