Haneul

-> Met by Eun-tak at the chicken resto in which Haneul is also a part timer. Knowing that Haneul only sleeps at the restaurant, Eun-tak offered her to stay into one roof with her since Haneul seems realible and trustable. The Goblin and the Grim Reaper may not agree to it at all but Haneul gained their trust as time pass by. She and Deok-hwa has a “Tom and Jerry” relationship even though she is a very quiet person. Later on, she admitted to the four that she is the deity of death and karma when Grim Reaper sensed something unto her. She doesn’t handle the death and karma of all things greater than humans so she is not the one who is bringing Eun-tak’s death. Later on, Haneul and Deok-hwa’s relationship grew to each other but it is forbidden since a deity cannot fall in love with a mere human.

-> Haneul is the kind of deity who was born human. Long time ago, she is the servant whom the queen trusted the most and about to pass the throne to her once the queen dies. But, the sister’s queen couldn’t accept it at all and when the queen died because of murder, the sister’s queen accused Hanuel of murdering the queen because “she wanted the throne so badly”. Later on, she was killed by a mob of people who loves the queen dearly. When it is her time to drink the tea to forget memories, she refused to drink it saying that she had more good memories than the bad ones. The deity of all death gods took interest upon her being the first human to refuse to drink it, that deity gave Haneul the power to be the deity of death and karma.
