the croc was trying to be conspicous as she had her pink hoodie jacket on with the hood up with the drawstrings pulled down and zipped all the way as if she was hiding something, stepping quietly, even holding her tail in her hands so it wouldnt drag around, she could she the door in sight, but as she tried to get her bike keys out of her pocket, the jiggling of them must have alerted Suros, as she came over and snatched them away She angrily but quietly grumbled,and tried to call the cat over "Suros..come back here..Auntie Lems need her keys back" as the cat blinked back at her as it began to walk back over to her, but then she heard her room mate start to walk over as she tried her best to hide pressing herself against the wall, but in the wrong direction now in full view

"Lemon? What.. Are you doing?" Rune asked, coming upon the strange sight. Her small companion trotted up to greet her. And with a few chin scratches, Rune greets her back.

"You going for a ride? What are you wearing?" She looks Lemon up and down. She's giving off very suspicious vibes.. Like she's up to something.

Rune was completely fascinated by the technology that appeared around them as they decended lower still. And the transforming platform. She moved with him to avoid any mishaps.

Her eyes widened even more when she saw it. The traffic of creatures from every corner of the multiverse. Some she had only seen in dreams and movies. Others she'd always wanted to see.

It was when he said he designed this place that she looked at him. A look of surprise on her face. She was almost too stunned to talk as more and more questions swirled around in her head. Finally it was a little too much at once.

Rune moved to follow him but she found herself stumbling instead. "Ah.. Sorry. I just.. Need a second.." She cursed quietly to herself. She didn't expect to have such a reaction. Then it's like the realization of everything hit her at once.

She had always believed everything was real. Out there somewhere. In some world. But seeing it felt completely different. It was unexpectedly overwhelming. But as fast as the dreadful feeling came on. It started to subside. Her head was still a mess. And her chest tight. But her body didn't feel like it would collapse anymore.

"It.. Almost feels ridiculous. Asking for a glass of water.. In such a fantastic place. But.. You think we could find one?"

He smirked at her enjoying the feeling. "it will get even better than just seeing all the white walls..." He commented to her as they descend even further down. Patterns of glass is now replacing the walls. Intricately designed glass. Showing what's on the other side the walls of the elevator.

Slowly winding down is the slanted ramp around it. It initially started a narrow straight tube. As the walls on the outside expand. He would touch her by gently pushing her away from the center of the circle. As a pole comes up of it as they move down. "Let's move before we get accidentally impaled"

The platform itself shifts. Modify and alter itself as it goes down. Turning from a disk into a donut. As from the floor. Keeping the general radius of the circle to the width of the ring.

The inner wall is just the same as the rest of the walls. Opaque white wall. The outer elevator walls are now fully glass. That she can see through.

As the ramp around them gets wider. More and more creatures started appearing from elves, to dwarves. To orcs and ogres. Centaurs minotaurs. Mermaids and mermen in a sphere made out of water. Demons and angels. Werefolks such as werewolves and vampires all co-mingling with each other. Most of which wear this crystal based armor. Which he would have to discuss with her later on if she were to ask about it.

"In the middle room of this spire. Is the hub. It have portals to various worlds and universes. Planets and anywhere you could think of. This will take us to various locations to buy our supplies for the trips.

We just need to take this elevator ride down to the floor level... Since the entrance is there. If you wondered why. I asked that same question to myself as well. Not my brightest idea on designing the spire."

Rune listened and muched on a snack as Kaiden explained. It sounded simple enough. She nodded. "What are their abilities? I'm guessing.. They have the basic enhanced strength and speed and stamina" But that shouldn't be too much of an issue.

"Also, how exactly are they neutralized? Do we knock them out and take them into custody? What's some specific information on your target?" The gears in Rune's head were already turning. And formulating a profile. Taking her targets alive was one of the more preferred outcomes on the job. But she rarely worked with non-human targets.

Kaiden chuckled at that, it was a little funny that their lines of work tended to be similar in some aspects. She leaned back in her chair, thinking of how best to summarize the different types of demons.

"To start, they can be separated into 3 different categories. Spectral, Beastial and...Humonoid." she explained holding 3 fingers up. "That's the easy way of explaining it, technically they can all overlap and their not bound to how we classify them." she adds with a shrug of her shoulders.

"Physical weapons can be used to neutralize beastial and humonoid but spectral is a bit difficult...magic is the preferred method for them." Kaiden leaned forward to grab another snack. "I hope that kind of explains it."

Rune didn't arrive too long ago either. She hadn't even taken her bass out of it's case yet. She was still just relaxing on the sofa when Elva walked in. She perked up at the sight of her friend. Sitting up from her lounging position. And moving her legs in case she wanted to sit beside her.

"And for once I was the first one.. Funny how that happens" Rune greeted the other with a wave.

Elva is in a rush to arrive to rehearsal on time, something not uncommon for her. Part because of ADHD and time management and other part because she's always busy. However, despite the rush it seems that she's the second to arrive, only just after Rune.

"Hey I'm not the last one for once," she laughed as she sets down her gear.

Rune steadied her footing when the floor started moving. She looked up and watched the ceiling grow further away as they descended down. It made her wonder what kinds of things were normal in this world. She'd like to learn more about it.

"I can feel magic all around us.." She commented, turning her focus away from the ceiling and back on their level. "Are you here to get supplies?" She wondered what kinds of things could be here that he would need or want.

"good" he told her with a smile. Not showing his teeth. "Well then. Let us descend down" he told her as a slight shake would be felt on the floor underneath them.

Seams on the circle separate and reveals a gear like shape. On the north south east and west areas of the circle. Revealed itself to be teeth. And on the spaces in between said teeth are guide rails to keep the circle in the same spot

Due to the walls of the elevator having teeth. Guide rails in between. Then it would be safe to assume that underneath them are cogs and gears. That is slowly moving them down at a decent 5 miles an hour. Vertically.

In between said guide rails are magic emitting lights. While not uses electricity. It generate light some way or another. Potentially magic. More specifically. Wards.

Rune watched the other. Noting how she used devices. And her apparent lack of chrome. What a curious thing.. But she did say she was a vendor. Perhaps she didn't need such upgrades in her line of work. Or it could be personal. Rune felt a little bad wondering. It was none of her business really.

"It's more sentimental actually.." Her fingers fidget with each other a little. "So.. I wouldn't be the one to get a product review from" She hadn't thought about it in a while. "Sentimetal or not though, it's kept me alive enough for this long. So I can't complain too much"

The willingness to give a fuller answer earned a polite smile from Yoruichi. She produced an old-style Agent to manually take notes as her conversational partner talked—an act which suggested it might not have a (now illegal) SAAI still built-in... but which also drew attention to the fact that she seemed to not have interface plugs or, seemingly, perhaps any chrome at all...

It made it perhaps a little funny that they were talking about smart guns, since it suggested she couldn't even use one.

"The eternal struggle to get the best of all worlds," she noted merrily. "And ah, the venerable HJKE-11..." There was no hint of contempt in her voice for the Arasaka product—to be fair to it, out of all their offerings, it was probably the most admirable. "What draws you to that particular model? A history of reliability? Presenting a good compromise between the Chao and Kappa in capability, despite the larger form factor?"

Rune nods.

"A costume store sounds fun. Why not go now if you're not doing anything? Can never be too early to start getting ideas for Halloween. Especially cause it always sneaks up on me. Even though I basically count down to it starting in August.."

Penn drops the new form.

"Can't lie. It takes a lot of focus to put together a disguise like that, and while I'm doing it, I basically can't use my powers for anything else. Also, adding extra height like that makes walking really weird. Still, I saw an actual costume like that at a store not far from HQ. We should take a look over there sometime."
