"FRANKIE".

Non-binary, gender fluid. they/them. Maybe a cyborg, maybe a whole ass robot, no one knows. Real name unknown, used plenty of names in their former life. They were, either created or highly modified to take an array of different personality packages implanted in their brain. With each package came a new job and a new appearance. This went far beyond a behavioural imprint. whole parts of their body are designed to be able to be swapped and changed to transform into an entirely different person. 

V might just be the only person to know their story, though they don't remember V at all. The person they've decided to be now, after escaping their creator has subdued for the most part all other personalities. 

Frankie doesn't particularly look as a man or a woman, though they might choose to present more female or masculine depending on their mood, sometimes on who they are interested in or what jobs they are running. Their style changes, though their hair is mostly some kind of bright color and crazy style. At the moment they've settled for pink. Eyes are fully black. Cyberware claws. Dress colorful and loud.

Other character notes: They are mostly cheerful and refuse to acknowledge anything that they perceive as negative, including their emotions. Highly affiliated with the Mox, mostly works as muscle and have shifted a lot of cyberware to accommodate this. It's unclear if they are showing symptoms of cyberpsychosis or they are just that way. Different personality packages might emerge now and then by accident. Their whole personality shifting, some are harmless or even funny, downright copying some hot celebrity from 10 years ago. Others can be dangerous as they come with assassination protocols. Whatever they are is unknown and very likely illegal.

"V" SAMI VEGA.

Trans Man, gender non-comforming. he/him. Streetkid V, raised in Watson. Very few people know his real name or where he comes from. Son of a couple of scavs who had no business and no intention to have children. "Raised" in that environment, where his parents made good use of his natural netrunning skills. After his father went cyberpsycho he ran away, lived on the streets of Watson for some years, mostly growing closer to Maelstrom for protection and access to chrome, through his former bandmate and eventually romantic partner. 

For most people, V only appears in Heywood in his 20s, his past is vague and mostly unknown. Most know he grew up shifting from the streets to foster homes to juvie, rinse and repeat. By the time he's 18 Padre allows him to work small jobs. The relationship grows until he's steadily working as a merc, exclusively for Padre.

Then without a word he disappears, two years in which the few people who knew him taught him dead. By the time he's back he meets Jackie, and the rest is history.

Cyberware-Cyberpsychosis: Through the story V gets progressively chromed and on the edge of cyberpsychosis. Soon enough, most of his body is replaced by cyberware, some of the most visually obvious are his eyes, gorilla arms, level 5 netrunning gear (similar to song's back). Most of his cyberware is either black or silver. Has a codependency both to netrunning and cyberware implants. 

Appearance: Brown skin, thick lips, appears somewhat mixed, though its hard to place and he has no idea. Bleached short hair, silver piercings. jaws tattooed on his neck, a snake around his torso. Usually wears crop tops, black clothes, steel-toe boots. Might rarely add a splash of color, overall just punk-adjacent style. 

Personality: Reserved, secretive. Was happy enough just being Jackie's "sidekick" and never wanted to become any kind of legeld. Even those closer to him know very little about him or his past. Can get defensive. Berserker button if pushed or triggered. Loyal to a fault. Generally emotionally unavailable unless people take their time to get to know him. Known for having quite a record of "romances" though almost all his relationships have been entirely physical, he usually gets distant the moment people try to get to know him. Hates corpos, hates scavs.

Some choices: Every choice is very anti goverment, anti corp. Had a good relationship with Takemura and emphatized with him, went back to save him. His relationship with Johnny started rocky, slowly developed into a strong bond he can't even begin to describe. Johnny is the only person in the world who truly knows him. It's both terrifying and comforting.

Phantom liberty: Kicked and screamed through the whole 1st act of Phantom Liberty. Did not make any kind of oath to the FIA. Fuck the FIA. Saved Song, killed Reed. Has a big ol crush on Song. Alex survives and they have a drink and an ol dancy dance on V's own grave.

Canon ending: (for now at least, not set in stone) Went with the aldecados, sacrified himself to let Johnny have his body. Went into cyberspace beyond the black wall.
