pls gimme a plot where muse a and muse b are two incredibly different people living on the same floor of this really humble apartement building; muse a is admittedly a bit off-kilter with her quirky personality and spontaneous bursts of incredible, child-like energy. She’s cheerful, ambitious and with a tendency to simply skim over the sad, hurtful parts of life rather than deal with them accordingly. muse b is introverted, witty and broody and spends most of his time contemplating the many mysteries of life. Sarcasm seems to be his one and only defense mechanism and irony his best friend. muse a quickly grabs his attention with her seemingly trusting and light-hearted personality, his odd need to figure out the source of her never-ending happiness making him sneak second glances at the younger girl quite often. Their paths barely ever cross except for when they pass each other in the foyer or happen to be doing laundry at the same time. one night, when a slightly tipsy muse a is out drinking alone after being stood up (for the third time that week), it’s muse b who swoops in to defend her when some random guy is coming on too strong. unfortunately, he can’t fight for shit and immediately ends up getting hurt with only muse a left to take care of him. The rest of that night muse a spends cracking jokes and lightly teasing the embarassed boy as she cleans him up, the two of them truly connecting as they share a lot of secrets that no one else knew about them. muse a starts coming to muse b at the oddest times, asking for help with chores and errands that she’s definetely able to do by herself, always wearing her cutest pajamas in an (obvious) attempt to seduce muse b, who’d respond with witty remarks and awkward stutters. And like imagine how cute it would be to see their personalities rub off on the other as their friendship progresses and slowly turns into a full-fledged romance !

she’s just so fucking tired. straightened hair now wavy around her face, katherine barely had the energy to fight back. if not for the fact that it was nearly two in the morning, then because none of it was new. when did things ever end easily between the two anyway? drunkenly curled in the corner of the couch, she begins to understand where her dad was coming from. it seemed pretty easy to walk away in moments like these. “what are you even talking about? i said hi. hi. didn’t mean i was trying to bang again, okay? i’m not the whore you like to paint me as, you know.”

      “    they could , but it wouldn’t be the same would it ??    ” there’s a grin adorning giordano’s features , a step taken closer to her as his eyes flickered to her face. he’s confident - more so since she’s finally said yes after he gathered enough courage to ask her to hang out with him. a small crush had been developed over time ; admiring the red head from afar ; now the symbolic distance wasn’t so big anymore. “   i mean .  .  . collectively everyone’s great but .  .  . your plays ?? hell i do mean it when i say i need to record them ; sometimes it just leaves one speechless you know ?? i mean it - without the star the team wouldn’t be the same.   ” at the mention of making it a tradition , his grin only widens , quick nod given her way as hand moves up to run through his hair -excitement is quick to be felt ; eyes on her features as he watches her for a split second , before looking down to the camera in his hands , words now parting his lips. “   well .  .  . i’d like making it a tradition ; it .  .  . sounds like a great idea if i’m honest.   ” brown orbs look up only to find her own again , lips curved into a boyish grin as he watches her. the idea does sound pleasing to him , so mason’s hoping for everything to turn out right.

her heart starts hammering in her chest as he moves closer, though she tries to keep her composure. it’s much too early to get so excited. plus, she was positive her mom would tell her not to look too desperate. then again, her mother never had the best advice. “ooh, speechless?” she questions, a brilliant grin on her lips. “your compliments are getting much more flattering mason.” with his nod she’s immediately over the moon. even if they never go get milkshakes again even the possibility seems like a win. “want a ride? i can always shower later.”

      “   y e a h , i stopped drinking mountain dew. i remember .  .  . trying to get myself to buy some the other day and .  .  . i couldn’t. i just.  .  . remember how we’d always sit on my couch , like we’re now , and just .  .  . talked and held hands and ate. it reminded me of how good things used to be.   ” digits grasp a hold of her hand , fingers now laced together as he scoots closer , tongue quickly tracing his bottom lip as she speaks. she never changed it , she thought about him too. “    i guess we both weren’t able to let go at all.    ” he murmurs , with a soft chuckle , hand squeezing her own. “    i never got rid of our pictures - not even the ones in our room , the polaroids - y’know the ones i’m talking about.    ” it’s beautiful , the way they mesh so well , how it’s like everything is perfectly fine again ; that all that pain they felt had never really existed (    they were together again  ;  everything was fine  ) it’s like nothing ever happened. arms are wrapped around his neck , his own moving down to her hip as the other rested against her cheek , lips parted as he watches her , her words causing his heart to flutter. “   good , beacuse .  .  . i genuinely don’t think i’d survive something like that again kitty.   ” voice is soft , brown orbs mimicking the emotions he felt , the love , the admiration , the adoration - all of them crystal clear in his eyes. “   i love you too much.   ” he leans in to close the gap between the two , lips pressing upon her own in a soft and gentle kiss before he pulls back , a grin spread across his features. hell he cares so much about this girl - he’s glad she came to see him. “    hmm… you know i actually think it is the perfect thing to ask.    ” he murmurs before pecking her lips once more. “     are you craving anything in particular ?? we can order a few.     ”

at the simple memory of how things used to be between them, she felt lighter. maybe because he was right there, holding her, and she this time she knew he’d always be there. they’d always be them. at his words she kisses his cheek, a soft action, the only thing she can think of that will let him know that she understands. that she missed him that much too. “i drank it a couple of times” she confesses, nose quickly scrunching up. “it was as gross as always. but... i don’t know. it still reminded me of you.” nothing had ever felt as natural to her as being with mason. not the nights with her mom, or all the other ones driving around at night with random guys. she could do absolutely nothing with him and still consider it the happiest day of her life. “you won’t have to. we can even go carve a tree with our initials so everyone has to see how in love we are.” looking at him, she wants to cry at the simple give words. he meant them. she didn’t think anyone before had really meant that they loved her before him. and if they did, never so fully. so deeply. “pizza” she replies simply fingers running through his hair, “and you can order mountain dew without me complaining. and those cinnamon things that always make my stomach hurt.”

thank you to everyone who, for some reason, decided to follow me. i recently started this blog because i needed a fresh start, and you all have given that to me. i really do appreciate every single one of you. so here’s my little thank you.
