The Story Of A WINNER

It seems like Hiro’s word in this post by my sister @japanessie had some fans offended. (OOR fans to be exact) so I guess it’s my call now.

WARNING!

Before scrolling down, make sure you are open-minded enough to read the following statement I’m creating.

Moving on to the story,

So in 2011, this winner named HIROKI MORIUCHI, aged 17, formed a band, MY FIRST STORY. (according to Wiki)

THE FANS LOOKED DOWN ON HIM. Saying stuffs like:

“He’s trying to copy-cat his brother.” “He LOOKS AND SOUNDS like his brother.” “There’s nothing different from his band. They should think of something new.”

For all the hatred, HE DYED HIS HAIR BLONDE. HE WROTE A SONG ABOUT THEM. HE PROCEED HIS CAREER WITH HIS BAND despite all the comparison and bashing in every MV they released.

Before this, Taka battled against the image of his parents and suceeded in creating his own image as OOR’s vocalist.

BUT HIRO BATTLED AGAINST BOTH HIS BROTHER AND HIS PARENTS’ IMAGE -which doubled the struggle he has to go through.

In this battle against the people trying to put him down, HE WON.

Because he had another 4 warriors behind him. Especially his leader, SHO - The one saving his life, just like how Toru saved Taka.

And now, 2016. Aged 22.

MY FIRST STORY hits BUDOKAN for the first time! After many years of ups and downs of their career as a band.

He decided to be even better than his RIVAL BAND - ONE OK ROCK.

He now officially marked his own brother’s band as his rival.

This is where the second battle begins.

And I would say, this time, HE WON. AGAIN.

because he finally break-through his family’s image and proved everyone that he got what it takes.

But,

the fans were upset about his statement.

I WONDER WHY?

Was it because they were afraid that his band is going to win the clash between them and OOR?

Or was it because they were brothers?? 

HOLD YOUR ASS, GIRL!

He’s not saying that he will fist-fight his brother, stab him right on his chest and throw him off a 1000 feet cliff. NO!

THIS IS WHAT HAPPENS:

HE GREW UP. HE KNOW HOW THIS MUSIC WORLD WORKS.

EVERY MUSICIANS MUST BATTLE AGAINST EACH OTHER TO BE ON TOP. EVEN WHEN THE ONE YOU WERE FIGHTING AGAINST IS YOUR OWN FLESH AND BLOOD.

Because if you don’t fight, YOU FAILED.

What is wrong with being a rival with your own siblings if that is how they both worked? But it won’t mean that they were rivals in real life too.

THEY SUPPORTED EACH OTHER AT THE SAME TIME.

Stop being easily butthurt just because they were siblings-turned-rivals.

now, allow me to ask you this, 

does it hurt to know that the one you once throw stones at, is now throwing the stones back at you?

The pain Hiro used to have makes him stronger now.

Strong and brave enough to fight his own brother’s empire.

Haji Rock uploaded their talk with Hiro (July 1st, 2013) here. Gotta love them for uploading their broadcasts!

I wasn’t following the whole time, but here are some interesting facts I picked up:

Hiro runs and does weight training every day.

He runs about 7-8 km while listening to his own songs.

He still gets tired at live performances but just isn’t gasping for breath at the end.

He wrote 「花」-0714- for a wedding last year that was held on July 14th, hence the name.

Apparently MFS is having training camp at the moment. Some Tweets about Hiro’s cooking:

Teru: In the middle of shopping. It looks like Hiroki will make dinner today. Will it really be okay? (laughs) [x]

Sho: July24th Hiroki Mama made us dinner It is delicious [x]

Teru: I’m surprised, it’s unexpectedly delicious. 2nd course. [?] [x]

Nob: Hiroki Mama’s meal is delicious. (laughs) [x]

Hiro: My cooking was a hit!! ( ´ ▽ ` )ﾉ [x]

This reminds me of Taka cooking during OOR’s training camp. I like how the only we thing we get from Masack is a picture of him eating (via Teru). Hahaha I’m guessing he enjoyed the food so much he didn’t get to tweet about it.

These high school girls on the train are talking about MFS.

This is so interesting.

It seems like these two love Teruki's guitar.

And I haven't been noticed yet.

Teru: Thanks!! (laughs)

Nob: This is the first time this has happened, so it's really interesting (laughs)

I stopped my iPod and am trying to listen (laughs)

Nob: I still haven't been noticed yet..

Sho: It's okay. When I went to a ramen restaurant in Fukuoka alone, there was someone wearing an MFS hoodie right next to me, but I wasn't noticed so (it was the best)

Teru: (laughs)

Nob: [An expression that means here something like, "There's someone who had it worse"] (laughs)

Sho: Who was it! Who was the one who told me that tequila’s made from cactus! It’s not really made from cactus! [?] Hiro: What! You didn’t know that? Lame! (laughs) Sho: Wait. You! It was you who told me with a proud face that tequila’s made from cactus!!!! Well, that’s unnecessary knowledge to you, I guess. Hiro: Oh, really? Because it’s my rule to forget unnecessary knowledge. (laughs)

In other news, I think Hiro cut his hair.

2013年 〜上半期〜

今日からもう12月ですねぇー ホントにあっ！と言う間に過ぎた一年だった……. と 言いたいところですが…….. そんな事はない！！！！！！！！！ 冷静に今年一年考えてみるとめちゃくちゃ長い一年だったぞっ？ ということでっ！！！！！(=ﾟωﾟ)ﾉ 今年一年をプレイバックしてみよーう 1月！！！ 新年早々、自主企画 「HIGHEST LIFE PARTY VOL.2」 をさせていただいて新年一発目のいいスタートをきりました

それにコンピレーションアルバム maximum10 compiles This. MAYDIE!! のレコーディングも並行して行なってました✋ そして、僕の誕生日もこの月でした！✨✨✨

友達に沢山祝ってもらって、最高の1年の始まりになりました 2月！！！ 遂にセカンドフルアルバム！！！！！ 「THE STORY IS MY LIFE」 をリリースさせていただきました(((o(*ﾟ▽ﾟ*)o)))

前作よりも更にパワーアップしたアルバムが出来上がって、残すはツアーのみ！！！ 3月！！！ この月は色んなライヴがありました✋ All Time Lowのサポートアクトをさせてもらったり 自分達の冠ツアーもスタート！！

更にPUNK SPRING 2013への出演！！！

大好きなSimple Planeと

MAN WITH A MISSIONパイセンと 初めての事ばかりで色んな事を経験させてもらって 色んなモノを吸収した月だった！！✨ そして、4月！！！ 自分達のツアーもいよいよファイナル♪───Ｏ（≧∇≦）Ｏ────♪

そしてありがたい事に追加公演までっ！！ そして、またまたそれに並行して 今度は「最終回STORY」のレコーディングっ！ 更に更にカミング神戸までっ

5月！！！ 最終回STORYのPV撮影！！ 深夜からの撮影で、砂浜にタイヤがハマってみんなで押したり…..(･_･;

6月！！！ またまた自主企画！ 「HIGHEST LIFE PARTY VOL.2.5」 Blue Encountとのツーマン！！！d(￣ ￣) それに、、、あの、、、、、 STORY OF THE YEARとのツアー…….. ヤバかった…… 中学、高校の頃からか大好きで、コピーしまくってたバンドとのツアー…. 感無量。 最高の思い出になりました ということで取り敢えず今年の上半期 終了～✋ また次のブログで下半期振り返ろうかな Hiro iPhoneからの投稿

クリスマスでしたね〜

去年、

「クリスマスの次の日は

クリスマスアダムだ！」

とか言ってる人が身内にいたのを急に思い出した…

苦笑ものです。

今日は一日中家にいました。いわゆる引きこもりです。まあ普段からあんまり家から出ないですが、←

クリスマスは色合いが好き！

緑×赤って見ただけでクリスマス感あるしなんかハッピーになれていいよね～

まあ赤が入ってるから好きってのもあるんだけどね！笑

マイファスのライブ見たことある人なら知ってると思うけど使ってるギターも赤いものが多い！
