I’m guildless for the first time since 2009 - our guild wasn’t active, except during big events, but the leader needed to take some time away from neo and closed the guild fully.

I need a new one where I am not required to be active (as I’m going to be a Mum soon and can’t guarantee I’ll get online every week) but I still want a base camp to check in on and have neofriends in?

Y’all any ideas?

it MUST be from a Neo plot at some point but I can’t for the life of me remember which one or what it actually looked like on screen. It also must have been about a decade ago so I had 100% wiped this from my mind but I can’t think of any other option for what this might be mapping out.

ahahah whoops, I just looked and it seems I have the Beauty Contest avatar from that time a few months ago I submitted an image and totally forgot about it because I don’t go on neo very much anymore...

pretty proud of that tbh - it’s a shame that it also reflects how atrociously small the active userbase is now though

4 years ago? Four!? I remember being so invested in neopets and though I still care a little bit it's hard to be excited with the site in the state it's in.

I cancelled my premium a month ago but it doesn’t run out until mid July… At the rate this is going it might outlast any resemblance of a functional neopets anyway.

I hope they release the Cabbage of Mystery as part of this crazy old art raid they seem to be doing... Rumour has it that it was never released because they did the Mega Cabbage for the Cove instead. But I'd have it for my gallery in an instant. /finding it hard to care about neo rn but in a way where I read a lot about it but don't go on the site all that much

This week has given me hope that Neopets is at least going to get a little bit better and it isn't the end. We just need a bigger user base again, I think. I'm actually looking forward to getting home later and being able to play for maybe the first time in the last few years. Last time was maybe when I knew I had my SuAP lend lined up and I think that was 2012…

I've never had a Draik of my own, I borrowed one for the avatar years ago, so this is sort of cool. 

Might make it a lab rat even and take all the risks.

Like, recently I was thinking, "all I do on here is my dailies" but that wasn't true. Being so totally limited to guild, boards and half of my dailies is so draining... In some ways it's making me think I can stop playing completely and other ways it makes me want to try really hard again once it's fixed. (Only if it ever gets fixed.)

I haven't enjoyed Neopets in days now, it's just a frustrating mess. 

There's nothing good to do while you fear anything could be an infraction of an unknown/known glitch bug error.

I hadn't quite realised how addicted I am to Neopets until it is totally impossible to go on there.

I literally barely play properly anymore and yet I lurk and read boards and do dailies and hope that maybe I'll get my last few random avatars and that's a little void right now.

I suppose 10 years of constant access does that!

OMG I know that Neopets is down and yet I have still clicked on my bookmark of my guild 3 times since it went down.
