I’m not sure if I’m allowed to ask questions here, but I’m kind of nervous about something.

I’m applying to college and working on filling out my applications. I need to get it. Like, I need to. There’s a part on the application where it asks you for your pronouns. It has checkboxes for he/him, she/her, and they/them, but it also has a checkbox for if you use other pronouns not listed, and allows you to fill that in. I do use auxiliary pronouns. I could just put those. But I vastly prefer my neopronoun set. However, I’m scared that the people reviewing my application will see “weird” pronouns and think of me as immature. As someone who isn’t a good fit for college. I’m kind of panicking. I’m scared to put my neos. But I know I’ll regret it if I don’t.

If they have an option to put other pronouns, I'd take that as a side they're accepting of neopronouns! However if you're too nervous, you can put your auxiliary pronouns and I'd assume that if you get in, there might be a way to change your preferred pronouns in the database later. neopronoun culture is seeing other people use fae/faer pronouns and being so excited for them because you use fey/feyr pronouns which are almost identical but just a little diffrent flavored

Neopronoun culture is (based off one of the previous senders) being into a youtube series but then the only representation of someone using neopronouns was the person being getting rude over someone not knowing what they are and playing into the neopronoun user stereotypes. So anyways i dont watch that person anymore.

Spitepronomial “part” (alter sounds weird but I’m not sure what else to call myself) culture is wanting to look up “stupidest neopronouns” so you can hoard the ones people make fun of out of spite, but the “host” (again, sounds weird but not sure what word to use) would have to be on the internet with you and it’s really insecure about its neopronouns and doesn’t want to see people mocking it.

Preferred neopronouns user culture is giving up on your other pronouns that are more "normal" just so people can get the idea that you want your neos used, and if they don't like it, they can leave your account or your life(or be ignored as best as possible if they're an irl family member).

But you’re scared you’ll be accused of faking your autism because no *real* autistic would actually want to associated with their autism to the point that they make it their pronouns. *Real* autistics hide themselves.

when you make ocs it is so fun to be able to pronoun diagnose them… looking thru lists to find the perfect ones to use for your characters as a neopronoun user is so much fun compared to being stuck with only the “normal” pronouns

Neopronoun culture is joining a discord where people *actually* call you by your favorite neopronouns and it feels weird and good (and a bit tricky to figure out the grammar for XD) because no one has ever done it before. (fae/faer/faers my beloved <3)
