Granny Senju and hashirama don't get along. She's a very traditional person and Hashirama is... Far from that. They have a mutual respect, though. Hashirama has helped lower her chronic pain by quite a lot. The pipe she's always smoking is often filled with a certain plant that Hashirama helped cultivate. It's not exactly weed, but it's certainly a pleasurable and mind fogging kind of thing, and she can't have it on missions
