the significant others of nct dream get together and make a small tiktok where they lip-sync the lyrics of their boyfriends as a gift for their comeback.

a/n: part of the comeback series.

as a team we all collectively decide on a song we should record our tiktok to. we came up with the idea last night in the group chat and decided to make one with the help of the company. they said they would sit all of the boys down to react to it and post it on youtube for more comeback content.

there was no pressure but at the same time it felt like it needed to be perfect, with reassurance and kind words we just decided to let loose, it’s better to be a little messy with personality than be scripted. this should be something that the guys enjoy and maybe nctzens will partake in the small trend.

we are all so grateful that our relationships were taken with positive thoughts and comments, obviously there were negative inputs but overall they were kind. we decide to make it like a mini music video, random fedoras, gold confetti and neon wigs we just enjoyed ourselves. 

after all the silly dancing and laughter we finished the video and sent over the video to one of the staff to set up for the youtube. they told us the boys would react to it tomorrow morning during the break of one of their schedules. that night we all went to bed with a smile on our faces with hints of anticipation.

today was the day, we sat behind the camera and the boys looked at us in suspicion, they were wondering why we looked so excited but i couldn’t even speak.

the video starts and they’re excited and started bopping their heads once they saw us lip-sync to their respective parts, when it got to mark’s line and i rapped it he gave me a thumbs up and an almost wink. they looked so amazed and appreciative that we all took the time to make such a creative gift.

after the video ends they all clap and cheer as well as the staff so as the professional dancers and performers that we are we bow and twirl because obviously it was amazing (duh).

they get up and walk over to their respective partners, mark walks over and fans his arms like i’m his favorite musician and i as a joke i flip my hair and sign his hand with a pen i found on the table.

he then engulfs me in the largest hug and we just smile.

having no interest in meeting new people made you naturally closed off and reserved until you glanced over your shoulder to which your eyes meet a man, he intrigues you, but again, you want to remain closed off until this event is over with so you don’t go home with unwanted emotions.

you’re at a formal gathering, one that your parents insisted that you show up for. you’ve looked up at the clock about 5 times until you feel a tap on your back, once again, you look behind you to be met with the same eyes you saw before. him. he greets you with a smile and his presence feels welcoming and sparks curiosity. after looking his face over you force out a hello, he begins to move from behind you to sit on the bar stool next to you. he asks for your name, you reply, you then ask for his name, he replies with “mark”. you repeat the name in your head over and over and you keep note of how smoothly it rolls off your tongue. the conversation continues and you’re enjoying it more than you thought you would.

the night comes to an end, you both give each other your contact information and leave with a smile. after being closed off for so long you feel understood by someone you met 48 minutes ago.

due to both of your busy lives with school and personal time it was difficult to meet up but you were both able to text as well as call here and there. the more you talked the more you wanted to see him and be near him, you were falling for him harder than you expected and it was scary. he was like sugar.

breakfast date with mark

apart of my dates with mark series.

i imagine a breakfast date like getting ready but not like dressed up it would be like wearing sweats and crocs with your lanyard dangling or something.

walking into a ihop/waffle house with a sweet older lady waitress calling you a cute couple, bashful giggles and such.

pots and pans from the kitchen as bgm and deciding what you’re gonna get.

onto the scenario!!!

he calls you at about 8:45am letting you know that he’s outside and ready when you are. going downstairs to open the door for him greeting him with a bright smile and him giving you one back asking if you were ready, glancing down at your clothing you tell him that you’re going to change into some sweats and you should be ready then.

running down the steps with your shoes and keys jingling in your hand you say “i’m readyyy” in a sing songy voice. he gets up off of the couch and you both make your way out to the car.

making small talk while driving and having light hearted banter about your bowling date last night and how you should possibly go pro.

parking outside of the small family friendly restaurant you skip your way over to the door while he continues to walk slowly laughing at you quietly. you wait for him to catch up and when he does he opens the door for you and you make your way to the counter to find seating.

the lady who is at the counter finds you both adorable and possibly the cutest couple she’s ever seen, she compliments both of you and wishes nothing but the best for your relationship. giggling softly you thank her and start walking behind her towards the seating.

she leaves the menus and walks away.

you’re deciding what you have a taste for while he’s just staring at you with so much love in his eyes. making eye contact for a short time he then looks away quickly smiling.

after ordering you guys continue making small talk and planning your next hangout or what you guys want to do after breakfast, time passes and the food comes out you both say thank you to the waitress and start to dig in

once again time passes 

both of you finished the food while he asks for the check to pay, after paying you walk out of the restaurant with your hands interlocked going to the car.

driving down the road he asked about what you had planned for the rest of the day, you honestly had no idea and you suggested that you could go to a park or something until he replied with “i actually want to watch movies..” you had no problem with this up until he asked which movie and so another “argument” began.

the bowling alley with mark

again, this is apart of my dates with mark series

ok so when i think of the bowling alley i think of neon lights, the wall of bowling shoes, the sound of pins falling, the tvs showing the score and the concession stand.

oh and the carpet with cool designs and glow in the dark lines so that you know where you’re going.

onto the scenario!

it was already a little late so that added to the chill and sort of stress free vibe. when you first walk into the bowling alley you have to go to the counter and buy your shoes as well as log the amount of time you’re going to play for, you settle for 2 hours, in that time you could do a lot.

after telling the guy your sizes you make small conversation amongst yourselves which results in a bet, if you win then you can pick out breakfast for tomorrow morning and if he wins you have to go to the movies with him. 

the guy hands you your shoes and you start walking down to your selected lane, sitting down on the neon colored benches you both put on your shoes then go over to the computer that displays to places to put your nicknames.

he allowed you to go first, with that you had to make sure that you started off strong, practically throwing the ball down the lane you hit 8 pins and then 1 more on your second try, mark goes after you and hits a strike, as expected.

this continues for a while until you’re both ready to order your food from the provided menu, calling over the server you tell them what you wanted and they take it back to the kitchen. 

resuming the game, mark is currently in the lead by 3 points but whoever wins you’re still going to hang with one another.

the food starts coming so you sit down to eat while starting some silly bickering about the score which changes into you asking how each others day went blah blah blah, you check the time on your phone and you have about 30 minutes left to play.

this meant that in order to win you would have to be serious, both of your scores would be more than the other, going back and forth until it was the last 60 seconds, at this point mark is in the lead and he’s feeling confident and very cocky until you get a strike which puts you ahead of him making you win.

the waterpark with mark

this will be apart of my dates with mark series since i’ve been ia for 2 months

okay so going to the waterpark with mark, you would both have to plan this in advance and when ever he has a free day just so you can both fully enjoy your day without any interruptions

when i think of going to the water park with mark i feel like you would both try to go on every single water slide, grab lunch at the food places within the park, rest for a bit and then go to the lazy river, which would eventually turn into a race.

now onto the scenario!

both of you had packed your swim bags the night before which contains sunscreen, towels, goggles and the little waterproof phone bags that go around your necks.

waking up around 9am to get ready to go on the road and drive to the park you both had your bathing suits under your clothes with flip flops and sunglasses. you went to the freezer grabbing the frozen water bottles to drink throughout the day because it was expected that the weather would reach high temperatures.

after loading up the car and making sure you had everything he had suggested that he connects his phone to the bluetooth since he had prepared a playlist for the drive. you replied with “sure but let’s wait until after we go to the gas station” because you would rather listen to the playlist in full with no interruptions. 

at the gas station you of course have to load up on gas but you buy some snacks for you both to eat on the drive to the water park. pressing play on the playlist you begin your journey, the drive was filled with endless singing, smiles and laughing at videos you saw on tiktok. 

the waterpark was just opening by the time you had arrived which meant no lines and fresh-ish water. after taking your bags and locking it in the lockers you both grab a two person tube which he carried most of the way, the minute you made it to the top you could smell the chlorinated water that resided at the bottom.

the lifeguard allowed you both to place your tube in the water so you can board it, after giving you the ok you begin sliding down the slide screaming and smiles beaming.

continuing this for the next few waterslides you ask him if he was starting to get hungry, which he was. you made your way to the food shack to eat lunch, after paying they handed you the trays and you sat at the tables under the umbrella discussing where you’re going to go next.

chlorine dripping down both of your legs you start walking to the entrance of the lazy river where they had tubes waiting, at first you were both relaxing until his tube started to pass yours, taking that as a challenge to start passing him until he noticed, with that a race began. 

both of your hands began pruning which meant it was time to start getting ready to go, you’ve been at the waterpark almost all day so getting into your change of clothes was a breath of fresh air. 

after getting changed you guys went to a smoothie place to grab something to take back and then heading back to the car to making your way back home.

starting in may, i’ll be taking commissions for writing on buymeacoffee, where 50% of what i earn will be going towards charities taking a stance against asian hate.
