It has been months, and I keep forgetting to show off my big cross stitch projects, but NO MORE! Ruler for scale~ Temporal tower took about ten months of constant work, and nap time took about four or five.

Hello, meet my new friend Megaplat! Adopted him from Goodwill for five dollars and gave him a good bath, now he's ready for cuddles (of which he can give many, as he is very large).

I found a luna moth!! I think this is only the third one I've actually seen irl and only the second I've held. He (I think....the abdomen is chonky but still kind of streamlined, and the antennae are ginormous) was on the ground by our backdoor in the rain, completely soaked. I brought him in to dry, and once he showed me he could fly, I set him on our porch in what I hope is a safe place from the bats. They only live a week, so I want to make sure he has time to go out and make caterpillars.

What a beautiful guy, I'm so excited I got to interact with him!
