Random List of Headcanons

neo’s ridiculously quiet, something ingrained into her with her upbringing and her damaged vocal cords

she’s a notorious pickpocket, her list of stuff nicked from people include; roman’s lighter + his hat + some of his cigars, some of mercury’s repair kit, emerald’s bracelets, and various knick knacks from beacon

the things she knows how to cook: rice, mac & cheese from a box, and toast. the last time someone tried to let her cook, the smell lingered in the kitchen for days

she occasionally uses a tts app on her scroll to communicate, but still prefers sign language

before neo had decent control over her semblance, it would occasionally cause some... less than ideal looks on her face. examples being eyes where eyes should not be, and in general body horror. 

her favorite genre of music is r&b, and occasionally that lo-fi hip hop stuff.

2. What made you decide to write this muse?

oh man, so i decided to write neo like the first or the second time she showed up, purely because she had 0 backstory outside of: A. being related to roman somehow, B. being against RWBY or possibly just everyone, C. having illusions as a semblance. i absolutely love characters who have little to none backstory, and neo just kinda fit into that slot.

14. How would you describe your muse to someone about to meet them, in person, for the first time?

she’s mute, knows sign language, really good with fashion, knows how to kill a man, and is probably going to disappear into a crowd if you dont keep an eye on her

    Neo's Signing

neo has been signing since she was picked up by roman, mostly as a hobby. however, because of the damage to her throat during a heist gone bad, the signing became a necessity for her to communicate. signing is her primary method of communication, with writing her secondary, and miming out whatever she wants a distant tertiary choice.

when it comes to rping, signing will normally be represented by 'italics and apostrophes' so i dont have to do shit like 'neo signed' or 'her hands wrote out' n shit like that. writing stuff, however, will be straight italics but it'll be in a separate line     like this
