( not to mention brainless elizebeth stan’s using those newer white washed comics as a way to show olsen as comic book accurate) mcu wanda stan’s if they genuinely were a fan of wanda’s character they would not go so hard for the mcu adaptation and of her but most people jus care for how attractive white people look on screen for them to see much past that.

a pet peeve of mine is those who take a character who is a poc whether it be from an anime or jus a character of colour and then make them whitewashed ass hell in fanarts?? especially when they pass it off as “ that’s jus my art style” like okay whatever tim burton. or if they’re not from america makes them live in or be from the us in fanfics or if they’re an anime character who you have seen participate in shinto practices or buddhism etc and have never been shown participating in christianity … fan fics make them christan have a christan wedding. even worse if it is a character of colour in a show with a very clearly established religion like being jewish or muslim or hindu and u still make them partake in only Christian paracitices and weddings in the fan fic??? the complete white washing and westernizing of characters is so annoying like pls u love them so much ur taking time out of ur day to draw or write something based off them take an extra little while and do it properly. especially if ur consuming content from a country from a culture separate from urs like an eastern country respect what ur consuming.
