okay, but imagine one of Daisuke's dishes breaks. he's in distress, so you step in and help to mend it by using the kintsugi method. good god, this would be so tender,,, and what if the golden cracks are shown on Daisuke's body as well as you glue the pieces back together,,,,,

Honestly, love your angle on the whole G&G campaign with Chance. Haven't actually thought about that because *Chance* was the one to suggest inviting Lux! Gives me some food for thought for sure
I'm basing my reason for them having substance is this tidbit of their Dex description at the end (yes, where Skylar calls them self-centered):
Lux's brand is centered around the concept of "the light within," encouraging their followers to find their inner light and shine it brightly for the world to see. However, Lux's obsession with their image and online persona has made them increasingly self-centered and insufferable.
I might be overanalyzing this, also definitely speculating a lot, but I can see it as their online career being based on good intentions, but then being warped because of the nature of being an influncer (no, I didn't misspell). Also 'obsession with online persona' gives me a pause there
There was also one tidbit of dialogue on their 1st Day where it goes something like this (not accurate dialogue but something along the lines):
Player: [Compliments them]
Lux: Okay, now you have ny attention
Player: That was the only way I thought that would get you off your stream
Lux: SO YOU DIDN'T MEAN IT? I am going to kill you! Or, well, my Luxies will. Your online presence is so dead
Player: I was just being nice!
Lux: Can't be too careful with all the haters I have
That kinda made me go 'huh, interesting'. Also, don't know if they ever used 'my Luxies' once during the interaction, I'll replay it when I can, but if they do? Wonder how parasocial they are with their fans
Do you guys ever think about the fact, that everything written in Date-A-Dex is implied/outright shown to be written by Skylar herself, so there is a slight chance that the information given in it is not 100% truth but rather Skylar's own perception and judgement and possibly can be challenged in the future? Because I do (No, I am NOT deluding myself into thinking so because I want to believe that Lux isn't completely shallow like Date-A-Dex description is making them out to be and is actually capable of character development and atoning for being such a dick to anyone around them, why'd you ask-)
