Journal Reflection 3.3
When I first saw the name of this course Negotiating and Deal making, I was thinking to myself I’m finally about to know what it means to negotiate and how. The most important object I wanted to learn was how to talk with people during a negotiating process. After watching all the different videos from this course, I got to see people negotiate things that they could lose or benefit from rather, it’s selling a painting or developing a documentary on a sports player. I’ve also got the chance to learn that I’m a quick thinker and that’s someone great at creating a plan. Out of all the communication styles I’ve learned about during this course I can officially say that this suits me. This Negotiation style made me analyze all the situations in my life where I possibly could have been in a negotiation and not even know it. I feel like this will be a skill I could use rather it's of personal or business. If you know who you are talking too and what’s their communication style you will benefit from knowing how to talk to one another. At least that’s how I feel. Just like researching before entering the process, this could stop you from making decisions that you might later on regret while making a business decision Although, I’m eager to learn more about this course, I must say that I’ve enjoyed what I’ve learned so far. I plan to take this skill and embrace it like it’s a special gift. This tool has so far been helpful to the way I make decisions because knowing how to analyze a situation and find ways to resolve problems could change the way we communicate. I feel like I’ve made some pretty good decisions when it comes to negotiating when it comes to buying things I just wonder if I could be better. and I feel like this course has truly inspired me to continue learning what it means to negotiate and how to make deals.

This speaks volumes to me because I can actually relate. When I am down and feeling as though I can’t accomplish anything this is my reality, As well, when I’m feeling on top of the world I am unstoppable. I believe that you are the controller of your own destiny.
