Chris refused to accept Jill's death during Lost In Nightmares events:he joined to Kijuju mission for Jill's rumors only.

He didn't explain his reasons to BSAA since she was declared dead by it after 3 months only of searching.

The fact Chris searched Jill all time refusing her death so hard it's so moving especially cause in the end...he found and brought her home.
