Pokemon Cosmic idea: this started out of a want for a Scandinavian pokemon region lmao.

The enemy team is called Team Cosmic. Their leader, Mercury, is a really friendly and cheerful person. They're nonbinary and they battle the player several times throughout the story. Any of these battles can be lost and only change how strong they think you are later.

Gyms in this region aren't based on type, but instead on different gimmicks, like sound, berries, friendship, weather, baby pokemon, etc and are mostly non sequential after the

There are 4 starters, Fire, Water, Grass, and Electric, and all starters are dual dragon types.

You start out on a northern snowy island, (yes this is for difficulty at first) with two rivals, one who's nice like Hop or Barry, and one who's a total dickhead like Silver

After a encounter with Mercury, who takes the starter neither of your rivals take, he gives you a public transport pass, and tells all of you to go to your parents to get it signed so you can go explore the region with your new partners. You go to a new location like a town or some major locations, get it stamped onto a passport at the station, and can then travel from place to place like Fly but more convenient.
