Custom Art Commissions + Prints For Sale!

Hello, Comic-Con! I’m Sydney Shiotani, a 19 year old digital and traditional artist based in Los Angeles. This is my 5th year in a row participating in the art show and I’m so excited to see how this year turns out! Payment:

Ok, so here’s how the payment process works! Like most other commission artists I will ask that the money reaches my PayPal after we’ve talked about your commission (characters, style, posing, pricing, etc) and before I officially start the piece. This helps prevent an artist working hard on a piece only to have a customer back out last minute. If you’re commissioning a colored piece I will send you a rough sketch before hand to make sure you’re happy with the posing/composition, and as soon as I receive the payment I will start the line art/coloring process. (Side note: Unfortunately I’ve had people run off with my sketches and color them in, claiming them as their own work, so if you’re commissioning a simple sketch I ask that the money is sent to me upfront)

Revisions:

I will send you WIP updates of the process (rough sketch, line art, flat color, etc). Minor changes and edits can be made in each stage, and I will move onto the next stage when you are happy with the current one. Accordingly, changes cannot be made to a previously approved aspect of the piece (ie: you can’t change the pose if I’m already in the coloring stage). Major or excessive changes may have an extra cost. If there is a mistake on my part, changes will be made free of charge!

Other Terms of Service:

- I retain full rights to the artwork and reserve the right to leave my artist signature on the piece

- Any commercial use of commissioned work is prohibited

- Credit me as the artist if you are to repost anywhere

- I reserve the right to decline a commission request.

- By ordering a commission, Client agrees to the above terms

Art description: Here are a few of my Tarot card illustrations - The Lovers, Strength, Queen of Pentacles and The Star. Prints of each of them are available on my website. Bio: I am an artist deeply inspired by fantasy and fairy tales. Like many artists I have been drawing ever since childhood and loved drawing fairies, mythical creatures and woodland animals. All those things continue to inspire me. My Inspirations grew to include everything from art history, to the petals and leaves of plants on the forest floor.
