Hi professor! I wanted to ask: Could my johtonian born ursaring theoretically evolve into ursaluna if exposed to any peat blocks? Im not sure if any peat blocks exist anymore, but if they did Im not sure if the differences in sinnonian and johtonian ursaring biology would be too great for such an event to occur.
Yes, I believe it's the moon and the peat that triggers the evolution, and it doesn't matter where the Ursaring comes from

Milcery are very alert and aware of their surroundings. During my stay at Blueberry Academy I tried to sneak up on many of them in the Terarium to no avail.
It's a necessary skill when you're tiny and delicious

Do you have any advice for a good poison type for a first time Pokemon owner? My brother's been obsessed with the typing and I wanna surprise him for his birthday!
Well, there's always Bulbasaur, but those are pretty hard to get your hands on
Budew, Toxel, Zubat and Paldean Wooper are all good ideas! They're cute, small, friendly, and have very weak poison.
Budew and Toxel are also Baby Pokemon, which adds their own complications, but some people find that more appealing

things that ARE appropriate during pride month: - taking your (crowd-safe) pokémon to pride - giving your pokémon flag accessories or using non-toxic dye - destroy transphobe with hyper beam
things that AREN'T appropriate during pride month: - recruiting the leaders of several terrorist organizations from alternate timelines where they've killed millions of people and harnessing the power of their various legendary pokémon to conquer all of reality

Are pokemon capable of having narcolepsy? I saw the sweetest Squirtle at a rescue who couldn't seem to stay awake half the time, I've noticed that everyone ignored him for that, I want to go adopt him but I've never had a Squirtle, nor have I had a water type, could I please get some advice?
((Sorry this took so long, it was hard to think of a good reply))
Narcolepsy is pretty rare in Pokemon, especially reptiles, but if none of the rescue workers paid attention to it, I have to assume this is normal for Squirtle
The most important thing would be to get Squirtle checked out by a Nurse Joy, but I can still give you some advice
Narcolepsy isn't random, it has triggers, which tend to be unique to the individual. You can test this by giving Squirtle various stimuli to react to and seeing when he falls asleep
I'll put Squirtle care tips under the cut, this is a long post
Like all reptiles, Squirtle need warm temperatures during the day to keep their energy up, and cool temperatures at night so they can sleep. They are cold blooded and can't regulate their own body heat
They need lots of water, I'm assuming you're not a traveling trainer so I would recommend a large water bowl that gets refilled throughout the day, and some kind of pool or bath Squirtle can swim in
Squirtle are omnivores! They eat leafy greens, small fish and Bug Pokemon, and various underwater plants. You can feed them any old Water Type Pokemon food from the store, or fresh fruits and veggies as a treat

Are Toucannon usually very pushy and persistent? One time, a wild Toucannon came up to my Noctowl Hedwig and tried to flirt with her, but she wasn't interested. Then the Toucannon kept trying again and again to get Hedwig's attention to the point where she got so annoyed that she shooed the Toucannon away using Psychic.
This behavior isn't specific to Toucannon, it actually pops up in a lot of Pokemon (usually males)
Some people just can't take no for an answer!
Toucannon and Noctowl also have very different courting and mating rituals, so it's likely that Hedwig and the Toucannon didn't understand each other's intentions. It would be like having a conversation in two different languages, with no translator
