I can’t help thinking about this detail: Pete lies almost completely still during this kiss. He’s caught up in the moment so much that he’s content laying completely motionless while Vegas touches him. It’s like he’s still wrapped up in all those feelings. Like he’s somewhere else entirely. 

Pete’s hands and feet are bound, but he’s still notably still during this scene. As far as I can tell, his eyes are closed–lingering on the emotions coursing through him, absorbing them. It seems like the expression of someone half asleep, caught in a dream. And the way he tilts his head up ever so slightly in response to the kiss? He only opens his eyes once Vegas lays down beside him. Even then, he seems dazed.

It’s such a stark contrast to the music. There’s an interesting duality here–the scene is intended to feel incredibly dark and intense, but there’s still a dream-like quality to Pete’s reaction. As if everything he’s felt is just…setting in. It makes me wonder how Build was directed to act in this scene.

I don’t even know why I’m even trying to interpret it. I just always notice this detail.

I'm normal about them- also remember this Vegas only cares about maybe four people and Pete is one of those four people that he cares about yes he tortures him but also he opened up to him which I assumed he has never done before not even when any of his exes which makes Pete special- also Pete is a very cool character he's also feral okay, he's not some mild mannered bodyguard okay man is a feral man in a suit pretending to be mild mannered.

I love the way my headcanons contradict themselves sometimes, like yeah I can imagine VP engaging in some form of pet play that's subtle and focuses more on Vegas taking care of Pete's needs so to speak, but I also wholeheartedly believe Vegas to be a messy and overall horrible caretaker lmao.
