With wild dragon discourse left and right and ahead I'm going to give some book accurate dragon pointers.
There are only 3 wild dragons. The Cannibal, Sheepstealer, and Grey Ghost. No other dragon is described as wild. Mostly because they were either claimed before, like Vhagar and Vermithor or Hatched, and did not go into the caves, staying with humans, like Tessarion and Sunfyre. Those dragons are simply unclaimed.
The difference between them is literally human dependency, human interactions, and the way they eat.
The Three wild dragons are also really different and the way they eat/hunt is the reason they have their names.
The Cannibal not only eats humans but seemingly dragon hatchlings, which is why there are only three seemingly. There isn't a recorded pleasant interaction between the Cannibal and Humans.
Sheepstealer steals sheep from where he hunts, and so that's why he has the name. He's recorded as mostly harmless, which is why he seems the most promising to dragonseeds, but due to him not wanting to be claimed and playing with the Cannibal at this time, he gets more hostile than any other dragon during the sowing.
Grey Ghost is a pale grey dragon that hides in his cave most times unless he's going to hunt. Then he hides in the mist over the sea and eats fish.
During the sowing, the Cannibal and Sheepstealer are besties and Greyghost stays away. When Sheepstealer is claimed, they kinda stop being mentioned because they aren't deemed as worth trying to claim as he was.
They also don't have a designated place. They move between Driftmark and Dragonstone in the books.

Greyghost
Tumblr media
Grey Ghost, or the Grey Ghost, was the name given by the smallfolk of Dragonstone to a wild dragon living on the island during the Dance of the Dragons.
Grey Ghost was pale grey-white, the color of morning mist. He was a notably shy dragon, who avoided men and their works for years at a time. His avoidance of people, and his ability to hide in clouds and mist, gave him his name.Grey Ghost preferred to feed on fish, and was often glimpsed flying low over the narrow sea, snatching prey from the waters. He made his lair in a smoking vent high on the eastern side of the Dragonmont. He was never claimed nor ridden by any man, and was one the three wild dragons of Dragonstone, along with Sheepstealer and the Cannibal.
Greyghost met his end by the claws of Sunfyre, at first it was believed that the Cannibal got to him. But the golden scales of Sunfyre were found by his body.
My opinion
Greyghost is in my top 5 favorite dragons. He’s timid and prefers his own company.

Colonize his home? Please tell me you’re not putting the Targaryen’s politics onto their dragons. Sunfyre was alone, injured, and starving, he's a dragon, an animal. He wasn’t planning to colonize Dragonstone and maliciously taking out other dragons. He was in a shit situation and sadly ate another dragon because he was desperate.
the word “colonize” was used in jest, my friend. the overall tone of the post was meant to be unserious, but I do think killing Grey Ghost shows a lot about Sunfyre.
I’m aware that he’s an animal, but dragons are intelligent and have distinctive personalities- there are dogs and cats that are just more mean spirited than others, right? Cannibal is right there, he’s “mean” compared to other wild dragons.
If the situations were somehow reversed, I think Grey Ghost would simply find somewhere else to nest if another dragon was there. About Sunfyre being desperate, I think if he was in good enough shape to kill Grey Ghost, he was in good enough shape to hunt for his food. I highly doubt his options were “kill or be killed.” I think perhaps he was aggressive just like his rider, but I’m not genuinely saying he’s evil or something, because dragons don’t have the human intelligence to even understand the concept of evil, obviously.

Thinking of the larger context of LOTR and like, the fellowship swapping old war stories and shit and Sam just says “Yeah I killed a huge spider…Shelob, I think?”
And Gandalf just blinks and is like, “You what now?”
“Yeah, killed it. Had to save Frodo”
Gandalf elects not to tell Sam that he killed the spawn of a primordial demon.

Sometimes I love the internet, actually. Incomprehensibly huge place but also so small. Saw a video on Instagram where Crayola was announcing they’re coming out with a box with some limited edition previously retired colors, including Dandelion. This video had hundreds of comments and almost all of them where “omg where’s the dandelion crayon girl she’s going to be so happy” and it was such an unimportant thing, but it was just cute

Quietly losing my mind over the fact that Elon Musk has straight up orchestrated a coup of our executive branch and like....I don't even know what, if any, system we have in place to fix this. Like... He's just taken control of the money and locked out the actual appointed officials. What the fuck.

Parents think it's a sin for their children to disobey them. Parents think it's okay to assault their children in order to instill the fear of God in them.
Those parents are prime examples of using the lord's name in vain. But they don't want their children to know that. So they instead invent some bullshit definition.

Hi everyone, I wanted to share some promising developments about a nasal COVID-19 vaccine:
Tumblr media
"THIS IS HUGE! Researchers have developed a nasal COVID-19 vaccine that BLOCKS transmission of the virus. This suggests vaccines delivered directly to the nose or mouth could play a CRITICAL role in containing the spread of respiratory infections. Phase I clinical trials HAVE BEEN APPROVED!"
