SG TFOne Fanfic
Hallo, participating in this by dragonsgirl572 because it looked really cool and also to help myself practice writing Transformers fanfic since I don't know a lot about Transformers (like I'm still learning some terms and some of the characters). I won't be able to participate everyday but I will try my best.
Day 3's prompt was Sickfic. To be honest, this is only kinda a sickfic? I mean there's someone getting sick, but not really that focused on... But yeah, it's my attempt at Sickfic.
Also, this is like a Shattered Glass Transformers One AU, so Orion here isn't exactly the kind Orion from the movie. Although, I did reference some stuff from the other Shattered Glass continuities.
Orion Pax had always held a grudge against Sentinel Prime.
Most miners did, he was hardly unique in that. Some nights, while most would be lost in the peace of recharge, he would lay on his berth wondering what he could have been - what he could still be if given the chance. He was more than just a miner. One day, he’ll show everyone in Iacon that he was more.
Optimus Prime will always hate Sentinel Prime. Even after the bot’s death.
It wasn’t always like that. It had been a grudge. A small one.
Then came the three strikes.
The first strike was the realization that he was nothing. That in a city of shimmering metal, Cybertronians like him were never meant to see that light, relegated to the darkness of the mines - meant to die for the good of everyone.
He didn’t have a T-Cog.
He was worthless.
It didn’t matter that he had dreams. That he wanted more. If he could choose, he would wish to be an archivist, to read to his heart’s content and understand the history of Cybertron.
But he was born without a T-Cog.
And so he was born worthless.
The second strike was a surprise even to him.
He hadn’t really meant to. His friendship with D-16 was only supposed to last until he got bored. The bot had been interesting. Megatronus poster. Notes about technologies he dreamed of inventing one day. Combined with a subservient personality that amused him. How could a bot who looked up to the idea of justice and had dreams ever look up to Sentinel Prime?
D-16 should have been nothing to him.
Yet, when Dee contracted a virus from the old energon mines and was out of commission for nearly an orbital cycle, he had nearly lost it.
He would have stayed by Dee’s side, but a miner had no right to waste a single second.
When Dee came back, he had been put to work immediately.
Dee had only smiled when Pax ranted on his behalf. Dee had said, “Sentinel Prime continues to search for the Matrix of Leadership. This is the least I could do until then.”
A sickness began to fester. A hatred that would consume him, with no cure in sight.
The third strike…
Well, we all know the story of how Orion Pax died…
And how Optimus Prime came to be.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Just some notes!
Orion Pax wanting to be an archivist is based off of the fact that in some iterations he was an archivist, plus in the movie he was going through like the archives.
Dee having dreams about inventing is sorta a reference to him being a mathematics professor in the Shattered Glass iteration and that he created transforming technology in one of the SG iterations.

SG TFOne Idea
Ngl, I don't know much about Transformers, and all my knowledge comes entirely from TFOne if only cause the Bayverse movies scared me off as a kid skskks
But I did accidentally start getting into it because TFOne was so good and then my friend made me read Shattered Glass which was also so good skskks
And now I can't stop thinking about SG TFOne because my mind has latched onto it and so now I have a problem since my mind is consumed with ✨ scenarios ✨
So like... just an idea I had was that you know how Dee shot Orion with his cannon by accident and Orion's arm kinda got destroyed? I'm thinking that but like in the Shattered Glass AU, Dee's arm also gets destroyed but because Orion accidentally axed it... but the arm that gets destroyed is the one that has the Megatronus Prime sticker on it (the one Orion gave Megatron).
And this one is a bit of a crazier scenario, but like in terms of the Shattered Glass AU, I'm thinking that Sentinel (while he is still technically the antagonist) isn't actually that bad of a guy? Maybe in this version he's the "I had to do it because the Quintessons will literally kill us all" and he did not betray the 13 primes, they really just got murdered and Sentinel had no choice but to make the deal.
So like with Sentinel being somewhat okay-ish (still bad just not blatantly evil like in the actual movie), what if during the whole chaos after Sentinel's death (cause Orion would still kill him), Dee managed to get Sentinel's arm and replaces his own with that? I just feel like that would drive Orion crazy, just seeing Dee/Megatron with Sentinel's arm.
Now why would Dee do that? I don't know, I'm just having bizarre thoughts and scenarios skskksks Some of these might not make sense and I am merely rambling.
Okay but this mostly stems from this concept I saw in one of the Shattered Glass continuities that apparently Megatron invented transforming technology. So what if in this TFOne Shattered Glass AU, Alpha Trion only gave Orion a T-cog since he saw that out of the four, Orion was the most likely to become a Prime. So Dee won't have a T-cog until like he develops the technology later on.
Orion receiving the Matrix doesn't restore the miners' T-cogs either. And while technically Dee can get Sentinel's T-cog here (I think this Sentinel wouldn't have taken Megatronus Prime's T-cog cause he isn't a jerk), I don't think he would go that far cause Sentinel is still a bad guy. But he settled on the arm cause he at least needs two arms to try and beat Orion.
Of course, seeing Sentinel's arm definitely angers Orion. So Dee still gets banished with the High Guard. Maybe he'll replace the arm later on? Either way, that arm is definitely haunting Optimus for a while.
That or as my friend pointed out, to make it easier, the t-cogs are still restored and Dee gets Sentinel’s t-cog and regrows his arm…
Either way, Dee getting Sentinel’s arm or t-cog is gonna mess with Optimus and probably give him nightmares. That’s the goal really.

You ever just wonder what would have happened if Victor just straight up went into a fever after the creation of the Creature? Like he had enough energy to go to his room, go to sleep, wake up to get terrified by the Creature's eye, and wander about the courtyard at night until the next morning.
So like, what if he just straight up went to his room, fell asleep - and then proceeded to have his fever earlier.
Like, he'll be fine since Henry would arrive the next day and probably take care of him anyway. The Creature would have still left since in the book he actually doesn't remember even looking at Victor when he was sleeping, only remembering that he left and ended up in the forest.
But what if like after the fever, Victor straight up forgot that he even made the Creature lmao.
I don't know if it would be horrific or slightly funny once the Creature does actually meet Victor for the first time, and Victor is just like "Who the hell are you??? What do you mean I have to pay for child support???"
It won't happen, and if he did forget he made the Creature, he'd obviously freak out once he did see the Creature for the first time just like every other human in the book. But this is funny idea to think about. At least for me lmao.

Imagine if you will, that you have an older brother.
He's an admirable kind of brother, the same as your parents. He has an interest in the natural sciences and is a bit of a nerd, but he's a great brother. Alongside your older brother, of course you have your parents, a younger brother (who is practically an angel to everyone who has ever known him), a cousin who is sort of your sister (and also your brother's one true love or whatever), your older brother's lifelong best friend, and a servant girl who is practically family.
Life is easy. You live everyday with great pleasure in your native home where the icy-capped mountains are beautiful and the lake serene.
Of course, like any other human being, you experience a great tragedy. One day, your cousin-sister gets sick. In her kindness, your mother takes care of her but gets sick herself and dies. It's tragic... but it happens.
Afterwards, your older brother leaves for university, and you spend your life full of enjoyment. The only thing you wish is that your father would allow you to take leave and become a soldier. Unlike your older brother, you had no fondness for the academia and would rather go out and find glory in battle.
In this time, your older brother's letters begin to slowly dwindle, that almost two years have gone by since his last writing. It bothers you, but as you are just a youth, it doesn't bother you as much as it does your father, your cousin-sister, and your older brother's best friend (who eventually does leave to go to the same university as your older brother).
From your brother's best friend, you're informed that your brother has gotten ill, but at least his best friend is there to care for him. Gradually, your brother begins to write to your family again and all seems well.
One day, you go out with your family to enjoy the nature. You and younger brother go out into the forest to play hide and seek. You seek, but do not find. You return to your family, hoping your brother went back but he didn't. You and your family try to find him for the entire night.
In the morning, you find him murdered.
A part of you blames yourself. After all, you were the last to see him. Maybe you even proposed that game of hide and seek. Maybe if you hadn't lost him he'd still be alive. Your older brother is told to come back home, and while waiting for him, you find out that your family's servant (who your family has loved like their own) was the murderer.
It's all so strange and horrible, but her trial is set, and your older brother has come home. He is visibly shaken when you first meet him after many years apart. He's changed, but he's still your brother. He raves a bit to you about how he knows who the murderer is, but instead of the servant, he mentions some other fiend.
This thought is quickly swept away by the ensuing trial and execution of someone you once held dearly. Your older brother is so distraught. He has decided to stay home, but his misery is palpable and you feel sorry for him, your father, your cousin-sister, and yourself. Although, you try your best to be happy.
Months past, your older brother has returned from a trip to some neighboring cities. Your father has been casually mentioning the possible marriage between your older brother and your cousin-sister. Instead of agreeing immediately, as you thought he would, your older brother instead decides to go to England with his best friend. Which is really strange to you, but hopefully he comes back better.
A year nearly passes... your older brother's best friend is dead and your brother has been accused of his murder. Your father has to travel all the way to Ireland to save him. Eventually they return, and your brother is a wreck - though that's to be expected after the murder of his best friend. Still, he decides to go on with the marriage - and there is happiness in your household once again.
Though somehow, your ever unlucky brother sails away with his new wife... and comes back stating that she has been murdered. The news literally kills your father, leaving you and your brother alone.
The next few months are torture as you watch your brother turn into a shell of himself, further falling into the miseries that you have both suffered. However, somehow a part of you can tell that there's something deeper in his despair, though you can't exactly know what.
Then you hear from a magistrate about your older brother's ravings about that fiend... the murderer he'd once mentioned a long time ago. The talks of a madman.
Your older brother leaves, promising to kill whoever enemy he had conjured up in his mind.
He's gone for months... maybe even years.
He comes back dead, though not alone. His body escorted by a ship captain.
He has a tale to tell you.
Oh, btw, your name is Ernest Frankenstein.

Ohhhh love this! Honestly captures the terror Victor felt when first seeing the Creature and I love how you drew the Creature slowly sitting up from the table. And yeah I understand how horrified I’d be if I woke up to see that eye staring down at me.
