GOT Predictions

I love Jonsa and I still think that it would be the interesting bittersweet ending that was promised.

However, seeing where the story is going with Jon and Dany and the few episodes we have left, I do feel like it won’t happen.

There’s 3 clear facts though:

- Jon and Danys’s romance is destined to be tragic. The parallels with Raeghar and Lyanna and Robb and Talisa are there for a reason. The spoilers of the Jonerys baby make it even more probable.

- Sansa has been having the journey to leadership. They want us to see her abilities and potential for queenship. I feel like there is quite a few Elisabeth I parallels in her story as well. Unless it is with Jon, I can’t see her marrying someone again and having children for that matter. Just like Elisabeth I.

- Jon and Sansa’s relationship is important. No matter if it’s romantic or platonic. There is a reason why they met first, for Jon overprotectiveness and their love for each other. Even if it seems romantic to us many times, the key is that their relationship is very important. They have stated it before and I think the show has put a lot of emphasis on it.

It makes me wonder, WHY? If Jonsa isn’t truly happening, why do they make it so key in both seasons 6 and 7?

I can see Sansa becoming queen in the end. Cersei having destroyed Kingslanding ( burning like the mad queen she is ) and Sansa protecting her home and making it the safe haven of Westeros, I think the rest of the 7 Kingdoms would bow to Winterfell’s strenght and its beautiful queen.

As I said, I don’t see her marrying again but having a motherly role. If Jon dies a hero, and Dany of childbirth…wouldn’t it be interesting to see their son Eddard, the heir to the throne, being also Sansa’s heir ? She would accept him as her son ( just like Ned did with Lyanna’s son) and educate him on how to rule. She would give him her surname and the Stark dynasty would begin and become the the most just and prosperous time in Westeros history. Just like with Elisabeth’s reign.

This is me trying to make the best of the situation that has been given.
