"My dad went on a mission for shield and he hasn't been home in a few days. I'm worried something happened to him." Jay told Nessa.

" So that's why I haven't had training this week." Nessa mumbled before giving her cousin a huge hug. " Was he solo or with a team?" she asked trying ro come up with a plan.

" Come for you, it's important that you gave your family there too." Nessa stated quietly not wanting to upset him. " And I'm sure whatever you wear will be nice too...now just gotta decide if both dad # 1 and # 2 are walking me down the aisle."

" I'm glad you'll be there with me." Nessa gave Scott a hug. " I don't know what to say or how to really explain this to be honest."

" Uncle Scott...I mean Mr. Lang, sorry I tend to call the Avengers my Aunt and uncles, but do you know anything about the time line and what happens if you make a serious change...even I'd it's accidental?"

“And like, you can’t fix it and revert the change? Ummmm well…it’s not good, that’s for sure. Like it could potentially cause the collapse of that timeline.”

" I've looked at several, haven't decided on one, if I could I couldn't show you since it's bad luck for the groom to see the bride in the dress before the wedding." Nessa explained, not realizing she was superstitious. " But I want something simple but beautiful . "

Nessa was quiet for a few moments. " We should call them but don't you need to let your brothers know?"

" It might not be his thing but yiu have to admit Nick Fury on a roller coaster is a pretty hilarious idea...though he might get kicked out for cussing since it's not family friendly language."

Nessa got extremly nervous when Cap told how they were being suspicious that sje started to cry. She knew that he'd be mad at her or worse disappointed and might cut her out of his life. " I was the Angel." she told him quietly hoping he either wouldn't believe her or wouldn't hear her.

The kids appeared outside a home in the middle of winter. There was an apartment building right behind them.

Jay and Nessa peaked into the window and on the buttom level apartment they saw a mother and son.

Steve's mother held her son in her arms protectively as tears poured down her face. Steve could hear her heart beating fast and he heard her taking deep breaths.

There was furniture broken around them and broken beer bottles were on the floor. From the fit of rage Steve's father had. He didn't hurt them, but he sure as hell scared them both.

Steve hugged his mother's neck.

"Mommy things will be okay." Steve told her, as he wiped her tears with her sleeves. "He's gone."

"Just for the moment." She mumbled.

" I was using the sophisticated search tool know as Google and found so many ideas so I saved them for ideas. Some where memory chairs where we post their picture with a sign that says reserved for then their name and rhe relationship to the bride or groom, doing a wall with like pictures like a memory wall, just things like that.

" I imagine the same with my family ad well." Nessa admitted. " I expected Aunt Nat to be there for these things and all my Avengers family...but I have certain ways of incoperating them into the wedding I've been thinking about."

" Especially with him." Nessa admitted. " I've never been able to lie to him...so we've gotta come up with a plan."

" Fiancé, not girl friend." Nessa corrected in a teasing way. " And who else would put up with me like you have all these years?" Nessa asked. " The running away everytime I was upset, running to the treehouse most of the time, who'd solve everything with her fist?"

Nessa than gave him a big hig. " And I didn't think of how living in their house would impact you either....I just thought it'd save us money."

Nessa looked up in shock and disbelief at the news. Joseph viewed her as an angel. " I wouldn't say I'm...I mean whoever pr whatever your dad saw was an angel." Nessa began not realizing what she said before turning to Jay. " your grandpa thought I was an angel?" Nessa asked confused. " I guess I did something good...but we can't tell Cap..not yet."

Caroline hears about the engagement and hugs.

Nessa gives a hug back. " Thank you...we probably should've announce it before the party. I also got accepted into Shield!"

" You're right, she probably does...or she at least considera me Cap's girl." Nessa thought outloud. " She's the first one who went a long with the " Dad number two" thing when I called him Papa Cap instead of Uncle Cap." Ness giggled. " I'll ask, see if she's up to it or not."

When Peter started holding back tears she gave him a huge hug. " I know, I do too, bit I guess that's the super hero life thing...we loose everyone, but we'll make sure they're apart of the wedding somehow. And I know she always said we'd end up together. My dad didn't like that idea but I think he secretly agreed with her.
