Mastery Reflexion: Internet Marketing Campaign Development
In our apprenticeships, we naturally begin by learning the parts and making various distinctions the right and wrong way to proceed, the individual skills to master and their particular technique, the various rules and conventions that govern the group. In the creative active we begin to melt these distinctions as we experiment with, shape, and alter these conventions to suit our purpose. And in mastery we come full circle, returning to a sense of the whole. We intuit and see the connections. We embrace the natural complexity of life, making the brain expand to the dimensions of reality instead of shrinking it to the narrowest of specializations. This is the inevitable outcome of deep immersion in a field. We can define intelligence as moving toward thinking that is more contextual, more sensitive to the relationships between things (Greene, 2012).
After I begin this journey to knowledge many people have stood on my path trying to make me quit and question why I decide to make a second master in this field. Having a master’s in criminology and been a professor I was on my comfort zone. Making this master was more to gain knowledge to my advantage to push my business. But it has become even more, this master has made me realize that internet marketing has a lot of potential and that here in Puerto Rico, we do have companies that help business with social media but are more focus on generating likes than in creating a complete internet marketing campaign. It not be tomorrow or in a couple of month, but I am working my way to create a company that not only focus on generating likes but also provide a complete internet marketing campaign. Coming to an end with this master and finishing a mastery part of the journey, I will begin a new one as a business owner, but also help others with my knowledge to maximize the use of social media. I have enjoyed every second of this master, even with a hurricane hitting my life (literally thank Hurricane Maria) from day one to this last mastery post. I won’t change anything that have happen.

Mastery Reflexion: Internet and Law
Think of the mind as a muscle that naturally tightens up over time unless it is consciously worked upon. What cause this tightening is twofold. First, we generally prefer to entertain the same thoughts and ways of thinking because they provide us with a sense of consistency and familiarity. Sticking with the same methods also saves us a lot of effort. We are creatures of habits. Second whenever we work hard at a problem or idea, our minds naturally narrow their focus because of the strain and effort involved. This means that the further we progress on our creative task, the fewer alternative possibilities or viewpoints we tend to consider (Greene,2012).
Our brains are very simple and always want simple things. This is a very hard habit to get over. For me was very hard to enter in a world I do not understand or even have some kind of knowledge. First, I enter to this Master’s degree were I only know how to access the internet. I enter a world completely out of my comfort zone. Not only I dint know anything about marketing, I also have to get over my fear of speaking English. It has been a rough ride with many turns and ups and downs with desire of quitting and saying this is not for me. The second part of my Mastery Journey come after the Hurricane Maria hit the island of Puerto Rico. I was challenge with many tuff aspects the fact we have no internet and have many problems with my classes, but I decide not to quit at that time and do anything to finish my classes. The third part of my journey take me to a company that allow me to enter the world of selling. I become one of the seller for the company giving me the opportunity to been asked to train the future sellers and create my own sellers team. The fourth part of the journey was last week, I prepared everything from the curriculum to the exam for the first Professional Certification in Forensic Human Behavior. This certification become the first of his kind in Puerto Rico and with only a full month of promotion, we predict it will get 25 participants, we end up having 33 participants and a waiting list of more than 60 participants that want to be part of the certification. This is a resume of my journey so far, no one said it will be easy but for sure I won’t change anything from this journey.

Mastery Reflexion: Web Analytics and Optimization
“Often the greatest obstacle to pursuit of mastery comes from the emotional drain we experience in dealing with the resistance and manipulations of the people around us. If we are not careful, our minds become absorbed in endless political intrigues and battles. The principal problem we face in the social arena is our naïve tendency to project onto people our emotional needs and desires of the moment. We misread their intentions and react in ways that cause confusion or conflict. Social intelligence is the ability to see people in the most realistic light possible. By moving past our usual self-absorption, we can learn to focus deeply on others, reading their behavior in the moment, seeing what motivates them, and discerning any possible manipulative tendency. Navigating smoothly the social environment, we have more time and energy to focus on learning and acquiring skills. Success attained without this intelligence is not true mastery and will not last” (Greene, 2012).
After taking this class, I became more involved in what social media and analytics means for a business and for the success of a business. I’ve been going around and around in what should I do after I finish this Master’s degree and this mastery journey. Since late January and early March, I been doing two different jobs, the first one I was with a company that sells conferences to school teachers, in the first 3 weeks I sold 8 of those conferences and I enjoy the process that I was part. The second job and the one that I have been doing for the last 3 years is teaching at a university. I discovered that I enjoy both worlds, mainly that is one of the reasons I joined this Masters, I want a challenge in my life. So those recent events make me realize that I need to create my own company, and now I am in that process. I will make one to sell conference to school teachers and the other to create my own web development, social analytics monitor company. I can wait to start the interview process and to create employment in my island that is so needed for jobs in those areas.

Mastery Reflexion: Strategic Internet Public Relation
Advocacy“A man should learn to detect and watch that gleam of light which flashes across his mind from within, more than the luster of the firmament of bards and sages. Yet he dismisses without notice his thought because it is his. In every work of genius, we recognize our own rejected thoughts; they come back to us with a certain alienated majesty”. Ralph Waldo Emerson.
For me being able to understand the importance of a PR has been so intriguing. After this class, I have acknowledged the hard work a PR have in term of monitoring and representing a brand. We have seen many cases of bad PR because the pressure the media put on them to resolve or give an answer to a problem. Like the case of United and the passenger that was taken out of the plane because of a company decision. The media have erupted with comments toward the company for the bad decisions of taking out a passenger. The PR try to stay with the company and instead of calming the public, the press release was to tell that the company was right and they do what was correct at that time. This cause even more damage than before
The PRSA has a code of ethics that involve honesty, advocacy, expertise, independence, loyalty, and fairness. This is the codes every PR must follow in term of creating a good representation of the brand he represents. For. me one of the most important parts of the codes are honesty, loyalty, and expertise. Sometimes we are hired to make a work and during the process of making this job, we encounter some problems that we do not know what to do. This is why you want always to contact an expert in this specific area you do not dominate, why?. Simple because if you emit an opinion in a matter you do not know or do not have a clear idea what is happening you could cause more damage to your brand and probably affect the work of others that depend on this company. You always remain loyal to a company. This is important because as a PR you manage the image of a company and this is a thing that is a top priority to a company because you want to trust your PR and give him a freedom to elaborate on behave of the company.

Mastery Assignment for Advance Search Engine Optimization
“If all of us are born with an essentially similar brain, with more or less the same configuration and potential for mastery, why is it then that in history only a limited number of people seem to truly excel and realize this potential power? Certainly, in a practical sense, this is the most important question for us to answer. The common explanations for Mozart or a Leonardo da Vinci revolve around natural talent and brilliance. How else can we account for their uncanny achievements except in terms of something they were born with? But thousands upon thousands of children display exceptional skill and talent in some field, yet relatively few of them ever accomplish anything, whereas those who are less brilliant in their youth can often attain much more. Natural talent or a high IQ cannot explain future achievement” (Greene, 2012).
I select this specific paragraph because for me it`s very important to find new challenges in my life. I am a doubter of the fact that the kid that get more A’s is the better student. For me and for many other psychologists and behaviors, the intelligence is divided into different categories. “The musical, the kinesthetic, interpersonal, linguistic, logical mathematics, naturalist, visual and intrapersonal” (Gardner, 1998). For me, taking on the venture of a new Masters degree especially in an area I really don’t understand was very challenging. I think I have the interpersonal intelligence because people with this kind of intelligence know how to express their feelings and like to reflex on themes related to life. I now realize I was born to teach and talk to people and I enjoy that a lot. I find myself constantly expanding my knowledge to areas I do not dominate and post a challenge to my life. This class, in particular, was a good and great challenge, I love every part of it. I have learned so many new terms, but most importantly, I now can teach others how to be successful with these tools learned in this class

Mastery Reflexion, Advance Internet Marketing Strategy
All of us have access to a higher form of intelligence, one that can allow us to see more of the world, to anticipate trends, to respond with speed and accuracy to any cultivated deeply immersing ourselves in a field of study and staying true to our inclination, no matter how unconventional our approach might seem to others. When we fuse this intuitive feel with rational process, we expand our mind to the outer limits of our potential and are able to see into the secret core of life itself. This power is what our brains were designed to attain, and we will be naturally led to this type of intelligence if we follow our inclination to their ultimate ends. (Greene, 2012).
Been a person that have a bad experience studying marketing I was so afraid of doing this master. But since I am always looking for new challenge in my life I decide to pursuit this Master degree in Internet Marketing. For me have been a great experience full of knowledge and new areas of exploration. All the professor and the administration have been so good with me during this process. It took me a while to get use to hear terms like google analytics, email marketing, cost per revenue, conversion rates and many other related terms it been such a great way to ad knowledge in my life. Like the phrase I select said we all have different intelligence and one is stronger than other but now I fell a new way of thinking and I have discovered so many new areas I can put my mind to work and develop new strategies to make my company get the result they want. With the knowledge, I have acquired during this type have allow me to help some friends with their marketing strategy using social media and email marketing. I am by far an expert on the field but I am enjoying entering in this new area deeper and deeper.

Mastery Reflexion, New Media Marketing

“Throughout history we read of Masters in every conceivable form of human endeavor describing a sensation of suddenly possessing heightened intellectual powers after years of immersion in their field. The great chess Master Boby Fischer spoke of being able to think beyond the various move of his pieces on the chessboard; after a while he could see “fields of forces” that allowed him to anticipate the entire direction of the match” (Greene, 2012).
We are all in a path to endeavor in new areas, for me this class present so many challenge and I love every one of them. I never prepare a plan for marketing or use analytics and it have blown my mind away. I think an ambassador program is a great fit for my company because this program will create endeavor mind on there student no matter their field they all want to expand and want to search and elaborate on what they have learn from the ambassador programs.
Also we need to encourage people to get back to the community and help even more is sad today to see so many people that have lost their home because of Hurricane Maria and see other that did not lost anything just stand there and watch, but other even if they have lost everything decide to help other to cook, give medical assistant, help with the rebuilding process we all need this mindset. To endeavor not for what we will get from, but for what we are going to leave for the rest of our life.

Mastery Reflexion, Web Design and Usability

“The reason you require a mentor is simple: Life is short; you have only so much time and so much energy to expend. Your most creative years are generally in your late twenties and on into your forties. You can learn what you need through books, your own practice, and occasional advice from others, but the process is hit and miss” (Greene, 2012).
This class make me realize the importance of a good mentor, since I did not know much about the process of creating a web page I learn a lot about the importance of findability and usability. This make me look every web page I visit with a different perspective. I thank Mr. Vidal for his understanding about my situation I entering a new route about the fact of web page design. In this trouble time here in Puerto Rico this class is my oasis, I am enjoying every second taking this class.

Mastery Reflexion, Internet Consumer, Behavior and Analysis
One day. His father rebuked him with words Charles would never forget: “You care for nothing but shooting, dogs and rat-catching, and your will be a disgrace to yourself and all your family (Greene, 2012). Sometimes we have many people telling us that we won’t be anything in our life and we decide to listen to those comments. When I was at school I got professor that told me that I won’t be anything in my life, especially since I come from not a poor neighborhood, but I live in a middle-class environment where we got a lot of people living close to each other. I decide to encourage that phase that I won’t be anyone in life, and prove them wrong. For me is a way to encourage myself to be better and to give to other when I am teaching and making them better person. This course let me realize the importance of how we behave on the internet and how the company use these behaviors to sell us stuff. Know I understand better why is important to know your costumer and to take advantage of the visit to your web page. We need to use more in a better the way the information acquired with the use of cookies.
Even with the climate situation with hurricane Irma and Maria now, we need to focus and make World a better place to live and enjoy our time here the more we can. I don’t think we came here just to work, we came here to enjoy and make a better World for others.

Mastery Reflexion, Digital Storytelling and Branding
The misery that oppresses you lies not in your profession but in yourself! (Johann Wolfgang von Goethe). For me this class let me realize the importance of a story for my company. Sometimes we just take some areas for granted but I realize the best way to connect with the people is with a good story. It might seem that connecting to something as personal as your inclinations and Life`s Task would be relatively simple and natural, one you recognize their importance. But in fact, it is the opposite (Robert Greene, 2012). This phrase from the book Mastery is so important, not because you find your inclinations or life task that doesn’t mean that every person will be in favor of what you decide to do with your life. That the moment you need to realize what is your story and why does it matter to you and your brand. Sometime in our brands we try to create a different story one that is not the real one, especially when you come from a different background. For me this class let me realize the importance of emblazing who I am and why I need to create my own story and how to present that story to promote my brand.
For me with this class I have a better understanding on how to create a good story for my company. Specially in this changing time we need to have a story that could get to your public. I have understood why you need a story, why that story must be real, but most important that story must make you public feel part of the brand. I always admired companies with good stories but now I like them even more because I now understand the process to create a story and the relevance in the success of a brand.

After taking this class I have discover more areas to improves on my business, other tools related to web metrics. But in this class I must said it was more than I could ever imagines. I have taken marketing classes before, but never I have learned so much about how this new era of internet marketing develop. I must say that analyzing my competitor make me realize the many areas of advantage I could take to maximize my company. I learn a lot about different programs to monitor customers and about web metrics that help me gather information to create new campaigns for my company.
On the book, Mastery Robert Greene talk about the strategies for finding your life`s task. One of them is Return to your origins (Greene, 2012). I identify with the story of Einstein. His life change when he receives a compass from his father. For him was a compass for me was the book “Vedele a la mente no a la gente” from the author Jurgen Klaric. For Einstein’s was the way the compass move that make him question what is the force that make things move around. For me this book allows me to understand the areas of the brain that cause that people buy stuff. Also, how to create a sale speech using the reptilian brain (Klaric, 2015). Also, the fact that some people buy because they are afraid of nor fulfilling some areas of they life. That why I love the book, because the book allows me to see a new world in the area of marketing and empowerment. Also, I been watching videos for the same author about empowerment and it just make me realize how much time I have wasted in some stuff and why I wasn’t able to succeed in some areas like financial and recognition.
I want to keep reading more and have found a new love for marketing and I also implement marketing in my criminology class and in my conference. I found out that marketing Iis very important in our life and we are selling almost every time.

Marketing Fundamentals
In this class I reach a new level of knowledge. First I discover new ways to improve my business and other tools related to web metrics. Also, I learn that I need to work on my schedule to been able to fulfill my deadlines. But in this class I must said it was more than I could ever imagine.
One of the strategies for finding your life task, that Robert Green present in his book is Avoid a False Path (Greene, 2012). This is very important for me because many time I must work on my mediocre brain, that make me get distracted and not focus on what is important. In this class was very difficult working with my time and lose focus of the class. Since I am in Mexico and with my conference and the trips hours I been working almost late every time. I am working every day on me and how to be more focus again in the many task I have in my life. I thank Ms. Ferguson for allowing me to be better and thank for all the help with the language barrier. I am always learning and I like to keep searching for new apps and programs to gather those ever-important analytics for my business.
