Hi! I just wanted to know what do you use for your sketches such as the subway ones?
Hi hi,
Got a few questions about this. Here’s a more in-depth post about a few brush pens that I’m using.
In short, for brush pens:
Pentel Pocket Brush Pens
Pentel Color Brush and “Pigment Ink” Brush pens
Kuretake (or Niji) Water Brush pens
For pencils, I like :
Caran d’Ache Supracolor pencils
Derwent “Inktense” pencils
Stabilo All pencils
Ballpoint pens:
Zebra Fortia
Zebra that you can get in Walgreens
SKB SK-1000
The majority of my drawings on location are done in a Moleskine, but some are in a large Bee Super Deluxe 93 lb. sketchbook. A Field Notes (“County Fair” one with the linen covers that don’t fall apart) rides in my back pocket always.Oddly enough, none of it really makes me draw any better.
