Sauron has no feelings for Galadriel. He is using textbook manipulation tactics. He is lying. Using his words to sway the powerful elf to his side so that he has an advantage in domination over Middle Earth.
“I would have made you a queen.” and “I would not rest until all of middle earth worshipped the light of its queen” - Using promises of power to tempt her. He is trying to corrupt her as Melkor corrupted him. You can see it in his eyes that he is manipulating her; they are cold and unfeeling, not indicative of a romantic conversation.
Galadriel has no feelings for him. She was successfully manipulated, drew in with lies of friendship and false promises of power, and then betrayed once Sauron had what he had wanted from the start. She was drawn to the promise of power that was never intended to be given to her.
I beg of you all to use your fucking eyes and learn to read body language. If you insist on simply taking all words as true, then one day you may also be victim to manipulation and not realize it. It is extremely dangerous to take all words at face value.
Look at Sauron’s eyes as he speaks those lies. They are cold and unfeeling. A tell of his deception.

Wdym I'm supposed to believe that Annatar is the bad guy the dark lord someone that cannot be trusted that will manipulate me and sculpt my very thoughts to his liking when he looks like that.
That's no dark lord. That's just a lost puppy.

After discussing it with my boyfriend we came to the conclusion that all evil in middle earth comes from illuvatar himself.
Melkor was just a guy who wanted the freedom to sing his own creations, but illuvatar said nope you can't have free will now sing MY songs
Mairon was pretty much the same, and thus he followed Melkor but as Melkor grew resentful he started grooming Mairon into being the same evil being (because let's not forget that Mairon/Sauron's actual goal is peace and order. It just went downhill because of Melkor grooming and manipulating him)
Illuvatar could've stopped them because he's literally god but he didn't, he completely ignored every problem Arda faced
Same could be said about the other Ainur, especially Manwë who could've helped Melkor but didn't
So yeah Illuvatar is the bad guy.

So episode 8 spoilers and all!!!
Am I the only one disappointed by the episode? Maybe I just wasn't focused enough but I don't know.
I expected more from the balrog scene. He's there for 2 minutes, kills the king and leaves no one knows where. Isn't he supposed to you know, kill everyone and destroy Moria?
Celebrimbor's death?? Hello??? I never expected it to be perfectly accurate to the books but like...I don't know it should have been more violent, more graphic? Maybe that's just me.
Bit confused about the stranger being Gandalf. Like yes I saw it coming but I was hoping we were just being misled and he would be someone else cause I don't know. It's not even about the timeline but why would Gandalf be the only istari? And why the first? Shouldn't Saruman be the first? Then where are all the others?
Okay that one's on me but I wished the episode ended with Annatar making the one ring. It's the only missing ring and I think it would fit the timeline kind of. But that was just my theory after watching episode 7 but I think it would've been great as a season finale.

So I'm on my first playthrough and went for cowboy but oh boy the love I have for the autistic dude who likes rocks. He's my sunshine I swear
My Time At Sandrock is a fantastic sim game where you play as a twink who builds stuff and ends up dating either an autistic dude who likes rocks, an autistic mute doctor, an autistic science guy, or a cowboy.
